This three bedroom house comfortably sleeps five: The main bedroom has a queen bed and its own ensuite bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms have, respectively, a queen bed and a single bed.
The house is in a cul-de-sac location amongst well-established gardens. It is 400m to the bus stop and 2km to Westfield Garden City shopping centre.
Brisbane city centre is 20 minutes by car or 26 minutes by bus.
The rear garden is private and includes a verandah for al fresco dining. The garden is fully fenced, making it suitable for dogs.
The interior is comfortable and fully furnished. The master bed has air conditioned.
The living room features a complete entertainment system. There house includes a dishwasher, washer and dryer.
The bedrooms each include side tables, wardrobes and drawer storage. All beds are equipped with quilts, pillows and linens. Towels are included.

Enjoyed our stay
Enjoyed our stay - property in a good location close to shops and easily accessible travelling up from NSW and also from the airport. Clean and comfortable, pet friendly and yard perfect for the dogs.

good hideaway without being far from the shops
Overall it was a nice place to stay,but there were a few things that needed improving,certainly some improvements were made while I was there,but they should have been in place before I even moved in. I couldnt get into the doors,finally with much tugging I managed to enter via the garage(I freed up the locks on the door by using some WD40 I had with me)the stove top didnt work and had to be replaced while I was there,the bathroom cupboards were a little shabby and will have been replaced by now,but someone had to come in and measure for the new ones while i was there,management had to come to inspect the fact that the stove top didnt work,and also bring more utensils as there were not enough for me to entertain with. Its supposed to be a house for 5 people but there were not enough knives and forks for that. Heating was great though and the couch was comfortable and the place was nice and clean,and I was allowed to have my dog with me,both inside and out. Excellent laundry facilities. It will have improved for anyone else,guess I was just the one that had to find the problems.And I did have to find somewhere in a hurry,due to unforseen circumstances.

Our family of five were happy with our stay at 12 Timaru for 9 nights. The manager is very professional with excellent communication. This conveniently and centrally located modest house was extremely good value for money. Pros include a comfortable and solid main QS bed, 2 bathrooms, air conditioning and plenty of inbuilt storage. Cons are the carpets are due for a steam clean, the outdoor seat cushions need replacement and the house backs onto busway alongside the Pacific Mwy. BYO coat hangers and clothes pegs. Worth booking for a cheap and cheerful stay. Loved the scent of gardenias flowering outside the front windows!
