A very comfortable and relaxing modern 3 bedroom modern lowset home set among tropical gardens, in a very quiet location and genuinely 200 metres easy level walk to Scarness beach at Hervey Bay. Totally safe and private.
We cater for all. The location is perfect for families with children, no more holiday boredom plenty of children's activities and playgrounds within walking distance and of course the beach. Our children really enjoyed their holidays in Hervey Bay and now so do theirs. The calm waters and beautiful sandy beaches are just perfect.
No more expensive kennel costs for the four legged friend either, all dogs enjoy the freedom of the off-leash beach and the social interaction of meeting and greeting!

We understand how difficult it can be when going on a holiday and then having to pack everything you might need to use, including the kitchen sink!
So when we developed our unique holiday accommodation, 8 years ago, we broke the existing mould and set different standards, and against criticism, based the property on a Bed and Breakfast Style. We just didn't fit into any boxes, but more than 25 years real estate industry knowledge and experience, changed expectations.
And all our many guests since 2007 have certainly appreciated what we have done. But to make sure we provided the best we could, we traveled the world, and road tested our property against many other very established bed and breakfasts.
What does that mean for you? - All you need to bring is your clothes and personal items. Everything else is provided. Imagine shutting your own front door, and opening ours, - your "Home away from Home"
Naturally for your comfort the home is fully air-conditioned with a large unit in the living areas, and then separate units in each of the bedrooms. They air conditioners are reverse cycle.
Our living zone includes 2 black leather lounges, the furniture is white, and red accessories complete the colour scheme. A large flat screen TV, with Foxtel (selected channels) surround sound and of course DVD's and an extensive library.
As the living ares are open plan, the 6 seater dining room flows through to the fully appointed spacious kitchen, with lots of wide benches.
Once again the red theme is featured in many of the necessary kitchen items. There is plenty of crockery and cutlery, ample baking and cooking items. Basic grocery items are in the well stocked pantry.
The dishwasher is an under bench dish drawer, no more bending to load the dishwasher! Full size stove, microwave, rangehood, filtered water, insinkerator and again nothing to bring. All the cleaning products you will need are under the sink.
The living areas and wet areas are all tiled. The laundry consists of a front loading washing machine, lots of bench space and a dryer. Again the products are stored in the upper cupboards, where you will find the iron, and even a baby bath for young ones.
In the bathroom there is a separate shower, with opening shower door, a bath with a waterfall tap, heat extractor and a hair dryer in the cupboard under the vanity. Next door is the important small room.
The sleep zones include 3 bedrooms. 2 Queen size and 1 with 2 single beds.
The master bedroom features swish European styled curtains, a luxury not usually found. All bedrooms have mirrored robes, with plenty of hanging and wire shelving system. Each bedroom has individually controlled separate air conditioning units and wooden ceiling fans.
Bedside tables, lamps and a separate dressing table are in both the Queen size rooms. If required a cot, and highchair and linen is stored in the third bedroom for the very junior member of the family.
Bedding - there is nothing more important than a comfortable bed. To ensure your comfort our beds are chiropractic pillow topped ensembles. A variety of different pillow styles can be found in the robes.
The beds are always made, ready for you. The linen is a high thread count, and our towels are fluffed before use. All the windows are security screened, and the bedrooms look out to the garden areas.
There are beach towels and linen changes stored in the second bedroom cupboard.
Spa towels and robes are located next to the spa.
Outside there is a BBQ and a 6 person Kwila outdoor setting. Pull down blinds for climate control are fitted to the front of the home.
Added of course, are the 6 foot fences which surround the home, and the lockable glass doors which effectively provide different lockable courtyard options.
An outdoor shower helps to keep the sand away!

Stay longer and the price for each additional week attracts 25% discount.

The beds are made, the table is set, breakfast is in the fridge, tea and coffee and all other condiments and needs are in the pantry. Sit back and relax!
The price includes the makings for your first days breakfast, afternoon tea on arrival with a complimentary bottle of wine.
Our breakfast includes cereal (in the pantry) bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes and not a small jug or satchel of milk, but 2 litres, and the same with the juice,
butter and toast. Then it is your choice!
A bowl of fruit, home made jam, or sometimes other complimentary items depending on availability and seasons may be included.
Complimentary pick up from airport or bus station if required
Where possible early check in depending on guest bookings.

No charge for your pet, but a pet bond of $100 paid at time of booking, refunded within 48 hours of departure, provided no damage is done.
Absolutely no pets on any furniture. Tiled areas only.
All evidence of the pet must be removed at the time of departure - sorry but he does need you to help with this one! Pet bags are provided, along with a dog bed, towels, and drinking bowl.
Genuine 200 metres to the Esplanade and beach. Totally flat and level walk. Centrally located, walk to shops, playgrounds or eateries
The property is in a quiet no through laneway, with only a handful of homes.
Additional car parking is available at the head of the cul-de-sac. There is no drive through access to the Esplanade, as Tuan Tuan creek is only crossed by a footbridge.
This makes it a very handy location, easy flat walk to the beach and extremely central to any Hervey Bay facility. Just allow 10 minutes drive to sporting fields, swimming pools, large shopping centres, Library, airport, bus station, and the Boat Harbour.
Local shops in both Scarness and Pialba are close. A myriad of different food tastes are catered for, from great fish and chips, French delights, all different food cultures, just to the right at Scarness. Beachfront breakfast and lunch options, or extensive BBQ facilities all in Scarness.
The children are not forgotten here, with the free waterpark 500 metres away, and numerous covered playgrounds for their enjoyment. A large reserve area adjoins the Tuan Tuan creek and is suitable for children to play cricket or kick a football.
Scarness is a safe swimming beach. Sometimes the tide disappears a long distance, and then your four legged friend will enjoy extra exercise in an attempt to find the water! Soldier crabs often swarm and disappear into the sand.
Follow the tide in, and sometimes, you might be lucky to spot a pod of dolphins or the delightful dugong. They graze on the sea grass beds, and to see one of these rather special mammals is quite a thrill.
You might like to try your hand at fishing off one of our many jetties.
We are close to the bat rookery - The nightly migration is a stunning sight from our front courtyard, how many can you count? Contrary to some opinions, the rookery has never for us, been a problem!
