Children's activities

Currumbin Creek

Safe and fun area for swimming and play near where Currumbin Creek meets the ocean. The creek forms a shallow bay here. The water is fairly still and shallow so young children can safely wade or swim. Older children also enjoy swimming or exploring. The fishing is good here and you can see the fish swim around you. Park at Currumbin beach and walk down the stairs.

Currumbin Rock Pools

Large freshwater pools where you can enjoy swimming or canoeing (you need to bring your own or an inflatable boat). Small waterfalls continually flow into the pools To get there drive back along the Pacific Motorway from Tugun towards Brisbane and take the first exit.
