St Mark's Church features a large, modern air conditioned, two bedroom award winning apartment close to the centre of Adelaide.
The church is a divine holiday retreat with unique features including original stained glass windows & baltic wooden floors.
Providing exceptional peace and tranquility, this luxury haven offers an experience to remember. The apartment exudes a feeling of quiet opulence with heritage exterior but modern up to date interior and furnishings.
Karin and Wilson are exceptional and generous hosts. Their attention to detail is second to none, their communication is fast, clear and concise, Karin's introduction to the apartment provided its history as a working church, a fascinating backdrop to our daily lives while we stayed there. Information about the area and how to get around is on hand in the apartment, and Karin provides local shortcut tips that save a great deal of time. Wilson's DVD collection is as extensive as it is world class, and his listing with synopsis is just genius. We saw several memorable movies that we'd never have watched without his introduction. The apartment itself is spacious and grand and carefully decorated, just the ambiance to make your stay feel very special. The bedding is just scrumptious. My daughter described her bed like a marshmallow (that said, the mattresses are very supportive), and the linen is just to die for while the coffee produced by the De'Longhi expresso machine is just the thing to entice one back up into the day. With the delicious fresh local produce and wines readily available, we produced gourmet meals in the comfort of what seemed like our own home during our sojourn. All the little touches, like chocolates here and there and the decanter of scrumptious port make St. Marks Church a memorable stay. Congratulations Karin and Wilson. Your awards are clearly well earned and deserved.
This grand apartment comprises a spacious lounge/dining/ kitchen area from where you exit to a hallway leading to 2 comfortable bedrooms, (1 with a queen sized bed and other with a double antique brass bed), private bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet.
Beyond the indulgence and the gentle repose this apartment is a very practical choice for those on holiday or travelling for business.
Your own private driveway provides off-road parking, directly outside your own private entrance with ample parking for 3-4 cars.
