This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom ground floor apartment is perfect for families, friends, or business travellers. Although compact it is a light airy apartment with private front and back courtyards and being towards the rear of the block it is a quiet spot. There are two allocated offstreet parking spots near the back gate of the home.

Sip your first coffee with bird song in the courtyard garden (the local Magpie Lark sings from the rooftops and one of our guests named him Happy because he makes you feel that way) or enjoy the buzz of a nearby barista. Try one of the food options on King William Road or Goodwood Road, discover the many shopping options nearby, delight in a walk in this exclusive suburb and meet the locals who are doing the same thing. Get your food provisions from the Adelaide Farmers market which operates every Sunday and only a 15 minute walk away.

Being approximately a 5 minute drive or 10 minutes (Bus or Tram) to Adelaide city. The home has excellent public transport links, including the Adelaide to Glenelg Tram at Stop 2 Wayville (10 minute walk) or buses on King William Road or Goodwood Road (all 5 minutes’ walk away). From this home you only have to walk 200 metres to access some fantastic restaurants, cafes, exclusive designer shopping precincts.

City attractions such as Adelaide Central Market, Adelaide Zoo (Pandas), Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens and museums. The home is on a direct bus/tram route to many major events and venues including the new Adelaide Oval, Morphettville Racecourse, Adelaide Showgrounds, Entertainment Centre and the Adelaide Festival and Fringe. It's located within a 15 minute drive to the Flinders Medical Centre or Royal Adelaide Hospital - both also accessible by the excellent public transport options nearby including bus or tram.

If you love the beach then the home is only a short 10 minute drive to the lovely shores of Glenelg Beach, Glenelg Shopping strip and restaurants and cafes. Alternatively if you don't have a car then the Tram will also take you straight to Jetty Road, Glenelg Beach in 20 minutes.

What you get

Bedding, bath towels and basic supplies are provided. We usually sneak in a few luxuries like a pack of Nespresso Pods, milk, raisin bread and Tim Tams.

The property is not serviced daily, however there are laundry facilities (front loader washer) in the apartment. Bookings of 14-nights or longer are offered a free weekly mid-stay apartment clean, which includes fresh bed linen and towels.

Porta-cots and high chairs are available upon request (at no charge) - cot linen is not supplied.

There is off street parking for two cars right next to the garden gate.

WiFi Internet is provided at no charge.

The apartment itself is stylishly furnished with laminate floors throughout and is serviced by a reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge area and fans in each of the bedrooms. In the colder weather all the beds have electric blankets to keep you warm at night. Appliances are all new including a 32 inch LCD TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with most of your general cooking needs, Nespresso Coffee machine, toaster, kettle, stove/oven and a microwave oven. The new bathroom with shower & toilet has a large 7.5kg front loader washing machine, an iron and ironing board are also available.

The home has two small private courtyard areas for your personal use and a small garden which is green and two outdoor settings. This ground floor apartment is situated at the rear of a small group of 6 and other guests have commented that it is a very quiet area. The area itself is an exclusive suburb of Hyde Park with some lovely old homes, wide streets with Jacarandas and just delightful to have a walk in the neighbourhood with the locals.

Check in: around 4.00pm but can be earlier if the home is ready earlier (luggage drop and key collection can be from noon by prior arrangement) - Late night arrivals can also be accommodated.
Check out: by 10am (luggage can be stored until 1pm by arrangement)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely well furnished central holiday apartment. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Kris is a lovely host and really does think of everything. Bread, milk, pod coffee (for the awesome coffee machine!), and butter available to use. Very comfortable beds with lovely bed linen and fluffy doona/duvets (no cardboard motel coveralls here!). The little courtyards out the front door and back both have enough room to sit out and eat breakfast or for the children to get a bit of fresh air. We had 5 of us staying at the unit and whilst it was cosy, we had enough room for a portacot in the main bedroom (with room to walk around the bed) and the other two children had the second room and with built in robes in both rooms, suitcases can be put out of the way. We also loved the location, I do love hyde Park and king William road so I am biased, but this unit was so central and walking around looking at all the beautiful homes was most enjoyable. There are also two great playgrounds nearby that the children love. The price was also very reasonable. We recently stayed in a caravan park unit for the same price and it was extremely basic compared to this comfortable well furnished apartment.

It was very clean and nicely decorated, situated in a lovely quiet part of Adelaide. The coffee machine and chocolate biscuits were are wonderful little extra, as was the free wi-fi. We will definitely be back again...for longer next time though!
