THE BROMPTON TOWNHOUSE is a spacious 3 bedroom home, kept spotlessly clean. There are 2 queen beds and 1 double bed upstairs and an extra single bed downstairs if needed. There are 2 Bathrooms upstairs, and an extra 3rd toilet downstairs. (see below for more details)
BEDDING is of a very high standard akin to what you would expect to find in
a 5 star Hotel. They beds are really very comfortable.
MASTER BEDROOM has queen size bed with luxury pillowtop mattress and quilt. Walk in Robe and ensuite bathroom.
SECOND BEDROOM has queen size bed, luxury pillowtop mattress and quilt.
THIRD BEDROOM has double bed with luxury pillowtop mattress.
** Please note all bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs ** but we have placed an extra single bed in the downstairs study should anyone have difficulty negotiating stairs or if an extra bed is needed for sleeping arrangements, but this is not an extra bedroom and cannot be closed off as is open plan off the main hallway.
The home has absolutely everything you need for a great relaxing stay, - and more importantly, for a good nights sleep. As an extra bonus, the windows upstairs facing East St have been fitted with magnetite windows which act as double glazing for extra noise/sound reduction/comfort.
A PORTA-COT with linens and high chair is available on request at no extra charge.

This is an Upmarket Indian Themed Hotel & Restaurant and definitely worth a visit. Even though themed Indian, They have a quite a reasonable menu with plenty of different a-la-carte food choices, not only Indian Food Choices.
You can either choose casual bar or outdoor eating or quality upmarket restaurant.
For the restaurant bookings are mostly required for larger groups especially weekends.
Also, they have a very comfortable gaming lounge with large sofa lounges with tea & coffee facilities as well as another fully equipped bar area.
BROMPTON PARK HOTEL, where the old meets the new for Stone Grill plus A-la-carte Menu - First St. Brompton
EXCELSIOR HOTEL at 110 Coglin St. / corner Hawker St has an excellent Steak menu.
Sometimes best to book if dining out in large groups.
If you enjoy swimming, but don't feel up to driving to the beach, within walking distance is the Adelaide Aquatic Centre. Apart from the variety of pools there, there is a swim shop, gym, spa's, sauna's and cafeteria
It is surrounded by beautiful parkland's and has a great playground if you have young children.
(The rates at the pool are very reasonable for non member visits, just pay as you go.) - We supply pool towels at the house, so no need to bring with you.
Or if you prefer other sports, maybe a round of Golf, - take a short drive and you will find the Prestigious North Adelaide Golf Club on Strangways Tce at North Adelaide.
Or perhaps the Tennis on Memorial Drive closer to the city. This is located next to "The Next Generation Gym" a huge very upmarket gym complex with pool, spa, sauna, squash centre, pilates groups, cafe and bar.
Right next door to the Tennis and Next Generation Gym is the famous, recently redeveloped Adelaide Oval Entrance to the Cricket and Football.

If you are coming over for events at either Coopers Stadium (home of Adelaide United FC), the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, or the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel, take note that you can walk to these events if you choose to, or take a short taxi ride.
For public Transport, there is a train station within 200m of the house (Ovingham) which will take you direct to the City (2 stops) The Adelaide Central Train Station is located on North Tce, right next door / alongside to the Adelaide Casino and Convention Centre Complex. The Adelaide Festival Centre and River Torrens, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner at the Festival Centre Cafe or try out the paddle boats or even take a ride on "popeye" for a cruise of the river or step off at the Adelaide Zoo.

If you would like to do a day trip and take the tram to Glenelg via Adelaide City Centre, you have a few different options.
First - You can either walk 15 mins to the end of East St to The Adelaide Entertainment Centre Tram Stop. on Port Rd.
or secondly, you can drive 5 mins and park the car either for free if there are available parks in the vicinity of the Tram Station or pay to park with the "Park & Ride" option at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Car Park, then take the tram to the City or Glenelg.
( You can't miss the tram stop, it is in the centre median strip on Port Rd. - just to the left as you exit East St.)
or 3rd option is to take the train (2 min walk across Torrens Rd. to Ovingham Train Station) into the city and then get the tram from there. There is a tram stop right out the front of the train station in North Tce in the City of Adelaide.

The Parade at Norwood - Good Shopping - Cinemas and more excellent restaurants, plus the very popular casual cafe style of dining at Bongiornos and others. (If you are a smoker, then Bongiornos might be for you. As well as their indoor cafe, they have an outdoor sidewalk eating area which is heated in winter.)
Looking for somewhere to go on a Friday night - try the refurbished upmarket Bath Hotel on the Parade at Norwood - very popular - age range from 25 onwards. Parking can be difficult here - Look for the offstreet (P) parking stations signs if you can't find an easy park close by.
Gouger Street Adelaide - very popular for great restaurants and hotels and here you will also find Chinatown along with
