The apartment is not in the flight path, you can see the planes but not hear them. West Beach is the closest beach to Adelaide and yet very quiet and almost 'country like'.

Situated between the West Beach Surf Life Saving Club, 150 metres south (great breakfasts) and the Henley Sailing Club. Further south is the Adelaide Sailing Club (open to the public for evening meals and Sunday lunch).

Glenelg to the south, a 5 minute car ride, has Jetty Rd busy with wonderful restaurants and excellent shopping.

Just under 2 k's north is Henley Square with a wide variety of eateries and Henley Jetty for casting a line.

There is a large information folder with maps, tourism brochures, bus timetables, nearby restaurant menus and take away menus etc.

Almost like clockwork, just before sunset, dolphins appear out front....

Photo #2 is of a pod of dolphins in a flat sea at sunset taken Nov 22 2010 from the apartment with my mobile phone! Unfortunately, it's not a very good photo but there were at least 6 that I could see just swimming around for ages.

Late August 2011, I spotted a dolphin and her calf directly in front of the apartment! And the baby started jumping right out of the water, again and again!

Just under 500 metres away to the north, is the River Torrens Outlet where pelicans wait for fishermen to hand feed them their catch! They can also be found on Henley Jetty, being just as patient and hopeful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely place to stay Our family enjoyed a relaxing week stay at Acushla accommodation. The kitchen is amazing, with everything you could possibly need. Loved the washing machine and combined dryer. Views from the rooms are incredible. There is alot of attention to detail to the little things you would need on a trip, like beach chairs, beach towels, extra blankets, bathrobes. Even the kids are thought of with games and dvds. Would be happy to stay here again!

Plenty of soft towels, milk in the fridge, wonderful. You have put a lot of thought into this. We found the bed too hard, but it probably isn't to others. We thank you for for a great stay & recommend this appartment to everyone. Angela from Tasssie :)
