Superb family holiday home where the whole family can relax in comfort including the much loved pet. Take a short walk through the rolling dunes to the glorious Middleton beach. Bike trails and popular walking trails linking to Goolwa and Victor Harbor are located directly behind the property; a great opportunity to explore the surrounding areas.
The beach house is the ideal place for a holiday; winter or summer.
The beach house has a large fenced backyard and sleeps 12 in two separate living areas, upstairs and downstairs. Bedding is one queen size upstairs, 4 bedrooms downstairs comprising a bunk room that sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms.
Front and rear decks upstairs are a feature of the house. The decks have two completely different vistas, either the uninterrupted view of the natural bush and hills that the property backs onto or the coastal dunes and sea. The rear deck is the ideal place for a BBQ or a relaxing drink - great to take in the winter sun.
Dogs can sleep in the garage where a dog bed and dog bowls are provided. Strickly no dogs inside though.

Cockle Beach is rated
Rated 3 out of
Cockle beach is in great location if you are looking for a traditional beach holiday. Our family from overseas and interstate enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the well equipped kitchen and backyard area. It certainly suits the big crowd and is dog friendly.

We had a great time; the house is located in a quiet and peaceful location. The balconies offer relaxing spots to spend the afternoon; you can enjoy beautiful views and listen to the waves of the ocean. Walks along the beach at sunrise and sunset are a must.

This is a wonderful holiday location, at the end of a no-through-road, as close to the beach as you can get and overlooking a nature reserve at the back - we even had kangaroos in the top paddock. It was within walking distance of Goolwa and Middleton and a short drive to Pt Elliot and Victor Harbor. The house was very comfortable and extremely well kitted out - not our usual holiday experience - the kitchen is capable of producing gourmet meals. Looking forward to our next visit.
