A very unique town with lots of bizzare little tourist viewing opporuntities. From opal mines, to underground houses to iconic pubs. Very interesting town folk. Worth a visit.

Visited Coober Pedy as part of a school excursion in the Outback. The town has a lot of underground attractions. Very different lifestyle to what I am used to. Will go back there one day as I only spent one day there. Plenty to see and do.

As you get closer to the town, the mines start apearing along the deserted road. It has a bit of a Mad Max feel about it. Wasn\'t comfortable there at all.
