Okay for short stays
The house was neat and tidy. Location was okay as a base for day trips around Launceston. Would have liked a bigger TV.

The cottage is comfortable however not significantly art deco if you love that sort of thing. The heater was noisy. While it is comfortable, $160/night for 2 couples is expensive for the space and quality of fittings without internet. Kitchen is useable though no oven. Owner is very friendly.

The house was very comfortable and well located. A few drawbacks such as - entry system was faulty/difficult (keypad); TV was a 1980's model meaning poor picture etc. (flat screen TVs are cheap these days), too many light globes missing; washing machine was not working properly and no instruction booklet; the clothes dryer had not been cleaned.

Location was convenient and facilities close by to suite our requirements. Amenities and fit out of the accommodation is well suited to the style of the house. Parking is good for the use of hired cars. Some information left in the lounge room and kitchen is helpful for people wanting to look around the area.

Think twice before booking.
What a disappointment. The only art deco thing in the whole place was the ashtray! What the website doesn't say is that there is a totally concrete back yard, where building materials are being dumped for the ugly construction site being undertaken by the owners over the back fence. Hard to tell if the renovations in the kitchen/bathroom are finished - a very odd kitchen set up. The fridge is iced up and struggles to keep things cold so don't go buying too many groceries when you arrive. There are much better accommodation alternatives in better neighbourhoods than this one!
