Jane Cottage 1855 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a lovely little cottage to base yourself from. There are quite a few very nice restaurants, an exquisite bakery and the State Theatre just 100(ish) metres casual stroll. The buses are easy to catch and not too far away from the door to get you into the city. It was lovely to come back to Jane Cottage at the end of the day and unwind. Although the TV wasn't working well, there is a library that covers all tastes, and we rediscovered the joys of a good read - accompanied with a nice glass of red. I also enjoyed the enchanted garden out the back, nice to sit and sip a coffee of a morning (if not too cold...) The lovely Jane and her cottage are a delight.

The cottage is REALLY close to the north Hobart CBD and there is heaps of awesome cafe's and restaurants to keep you dining out for a good while. Do visit!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This cottage is extremely well-situated, close to restaurants and within easy walking-distance of town. The pretty little courtyard is perfect for enjoying breakfast or a late-night cuppa. The bed was a little too short for us (we are 6'1" and 6'4") but otherwise the cottage is comfortable and private.
