Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfrul house, excellent loacation I organised a girls weekend away in Hobart for a mini hen over the Easter long weekend. The ower of 55 Davey was super helpful in the lead up to our trip. He couldnt have been anymore helpful and a total pleasure to deal with. We stayed in the ground floor house which was only beautiful, really cosy and quaint. We felt right at home and all the girls loved the decor. It is situated in the best location right beside the Salamanca markets and cafe district and only a short walk to the CBD. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Hobart, we would definitely stay again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! We were a group of four women who booked the top apartment for 4 nights. It was an amazing unit with everything we needed, and much more! The decor was eclectic and charming all in one go. The renovations were modern, however did not take away from the old world charm of the building. There were loads of wine glasses and cute tea cups perfect for sitting and chatting! There was a selection of teas, a large book of helpful hints, as well as a drawer full of all those little things you may have forgotten like safety pins, first aid supplies, pens, etc. The location can't be beaten as you walked out the front door, down the secure laneway, out the security gate to stand on the footpath with choices to make as to where to go. We were a very short walk across a very safe park to the CBD and all it many offerings. We were around the corner and another very short walk from the main city and loads of shops and cafes. Walk past the park, rather than through it, and you are walking up Battery Point. Though you have to pay for the additional parking it is close by, and it is easy to make your way around the city and back on to the highway to see all the attractions. We would all stay again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Property !! We booked both apartments for a family birthday celebration in August. It was wonderful to have such beautifully equipped apartments that all our family members (ranging in age from 6 to 82 years) could enjoy..... The cast iron bath was a great hit ! Each room was individually decorated, with personal touches in each room. The beds and linen were so, so comfortable ! Location, location, location !! Directly across from St David's Park, and the most glorious 2 minute walk through the park to Salamanca and all local sights. Nick was fabulous, with his suggestions, help and any assistance we may have needed, made our stay fautless! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Fifty Five Davey.........A very memorable stay !

It was comfortable, eclectically furnished, in a great position, close to Salamanca and the CBD. I stayed with two adult children and we all enjoyed the stay immensely - the unit had everything we needed for our holiday and more - lots of thoughtful touches and a great coffee machine.

Plenty of everything in the house (towels, tea bags and slippers!). Rooms a nice size - living area a little cosy for 6 Property is a little quirky which we liked. Would stay again.
