Reviews of Frankston

Rating: 3 out of 5
Jo - January 2004
Frankston has a bit of a bad reputation, but the locals love it and it has so many mainstream shops here.

A nice beach for Melbourne but the area itself...a little less desirable.

Shirley - January 2004
The shops and surrounds are a little, \'bogan\' but the beach is superb. My guess is that this area will in time become very desirable to live in. It is nearly an hour by train from Melbourne, but these days, that\'s not far and the Mornington Peninsular is right at the door step. Mornington just a short drive away is gorgeous.

Jenia - December 2006
Frankston is around 50km from Melbourne\'s CBD. The beach is nice, the water very clean. The houses there are not so posh like those in Brighton, but it became an expensive and popular area in the last few years.

While some may unfairly bag Frankston - it is the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula
