This 2 storey apartment has all the modern conveniences-balcony with outdoor Weber BBQ upstairs, LCD TV, DVD, audio and sound system, reverse cycle air-conditioning/heater upstairs, ceiling fans + heaters in the bedrooms, log fireplace in the living room, new kitchen appliances- stove ,oven, microwave, toaster, full fridge, new washer, cloths dryer, iron and hair dryer. 2 boogie boards + 2 beach chairs supplied.

Sleeps 4 ideally but has pull out sofa upstairs with good quality double mattress for 2 extra. Bedding is queen bed in one bedroom and 2 single in the other.

This is the perfect spot for fun, rest and relaxation. It is directly opposite the beach . Just stroll across the road, bring the boogie boards and beach chairs ( supplied) and spend the day swimming, reading and relaxing. Walk along the beach and go the the pier. See the fishermen, try fishing or have fish and chips on the pier.

Walk along the parkland and playground area. Follow the historic trail along Main St. Visit the lovely galleries in the area.

Watch the fireworks from the comfort of the balcony on Australia day and see the spectacle.

It is close to the wineries, golf courses,bowls and tennis club, great cafes and restaurants as well as spa resorts. Enjoy fishing ,swimming, sailing, eating, shopping, playing golf, tennis or bowls, picking cherries, walking or just relaxing.There is a small local cinema within walking distance. Explore Main St with it's boutique shops. Go to the local library nearby and read the papers while you have a coffee at the lovely library cafe. The apartment is near the boat launching ramp so boats are welcome.

Its only 25 minutes drive to the Peninsula Hot Springs where you can spend a day at this world class outdoor collection of natural hot springs and get pampered with massages , treatments, saunas or dip and dine there. Mornington Peninsula is particularly famous for its wineries and fine dining , secluded beaches, as well as Arthur's Seat look-out, mazes and horse riding along the beaches, Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale, Phillip Island penguins, surfing at Gunnamatta or other back beaches, and the coastal attractions of Portsea and Sorrento.

There are great nature walks and views at Cape Shanck, Mt Martha, Point Nepean, Arthur's Seat, and Red Hill. There are many farmer's+ craft markets at Redhill , Mt. Eliza and Mornington as well as the iconic Dromana drive-in, surf beaches of Sorrento and Portsea and great pubs there.

Mornington Beach Apartment is a great apartment in the best position. It's a little piece of heaven.

This apartment is wonderful for cosy Winter stays. It has a great log fireplace. Gaze over the bay while toasting your toes near the fire. Walk to Main Street and dine in the many restaurants, hotels and cafes that have open fireplaces.
During the day, go walking along the many beach and bush tracks nearby.

Visit the lovely galleries in the area. Pop in to the many wineries and Cellar doors along the way and warm up your insides with magnificent dining and wining( including 5 star cellar doors and restaurants- Montalto, T'Gallant, Paringa Estate, Port Phillip, Ten minute by Tractor and many more)

Finally drive to the Penisula Hotsprings to really warm up- pamper yourself with a treatment or just spend the day going in and out of the many natural hot spring pools and saunas while viewing the most spectacular scenery.

Getting to Mornington

The most straightforward way to get to Mornington from Melbourne is by car. As you drive down the Peninsula, don’t forget to look out the window and enjoy those coastal views. Public transport will also get you to Mornington but a number of bus transfers at least doubles the length of your trip.

It has a fully equipped, sizeable kitchen area, a balcony with BBQ and a very comfortable living area, and the bedrooms are nicely sized. It is well air-conditioned which was important for us English chaps (Poms?). We would recommend the stunning "Rocks" restaurant at the end of the beach and the Italian "DOC" restaurant on Main Street. A plethora of wineries are within 15-20 minutes drive, many providing great lunches, the fantastic Dunes golf course is 25 minutes away and a further 5 minutes to boat trips from Sorrento. The owners are very accommodating and provided a memorable stay in really beautiful part of the world. Thoroughly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent property in great position Our family of five adults and two children stayed in this unit and although it was a little squeezy it was very comfortable. The unit is beautifully located opposite beach and short walk to all other amenities ( shopping centre, restaurants, hotels, parks, etc). Great views to the Bay and Pier areas and access to beaches. Unit well fitted out with new kitchen. Thoroughly recommended.

Kitchen is very well stocked and things like salt/pepper, dishwashing liquid greatly appreciated. Could not get a better location regarding access to main street and beach. Very enjoyable nights sitting on the balcony overlooking the harbour. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay. I would stay there again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great location! A great house for a girls weekend away! The house is 2 streets from the main road in Mornington and just steps away from the beach. The agent really took care of us from the moment of booking and we had no troubles with anything. Would definitely stay again.
