Bellarine Stayz would like to offer you a coastal, farm stay, bed and breakfast style accommodation in a private setting, no sharing lounge rooms, kitchens etc, in actual fact it is like a little cottage conveniently located in the heart of Bellarine Peninsula.
Surrounded by a wide variety of trees, including old gum trees and 5 acres of farmland, you will be able to watch, from your room, the many different species of birds that regularly come in to feed. Cockatoos, rosellas and parrots just to name a few. If you care for a stroll in amongst the trees you will, more than likely, find the same chooks that provide your breakfast roaming around happily feeding. Sheep, rabbits and at night, possums are also amongst the many animals that call this slice of our country their home. By all means bring along your own pet and let them have a run around while your relaxing. A kennel is located next to your room so that your dog is never far away.
Bellarine Stayz is located on Bellarine Highway just East of Adventure Park smack bang in the middle of The Bellarine Peninsula. This will allow you, our guests, easy access to explore this stunning region. Hop in your car and drive ten or fifteen minutes in any direction and you will find many idealic seaside destinations, including Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale, Queenscliff, St Leonards, Portarlington and Clifton Springs. A short drive to a pounding surf beach on one side of the peninsula or a safe boat launch into the bay on the other.
As our guests you will be provided with some of the finest local produce to cook yourself a hearty home style breakfast at your leisure. Breakfast provisions include bacon, eggs, home baked bread, tomatoes, muffins and a variety of cereals. Also in your room you will find quality coffee, tea, preserves, biscuits and milk. Enjoy potted tea or plunger/espresso machine coffee. Further to this we can supply delicious food platters, gift vouchers, champagne, flowers, picnic hampers, beach hampers, barbeque supplies, light lunch etc. Please call us to discuss your needs whatever it may be!
The room has all the comforts you would expect including a King size bed, TV, DVD, Fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, heating/air-conditioning to ensure your comfort throughout the seasons and a full ensuite bathroom with a bath. Also you will find for your convenience a hair dryer, Ipod dock and free WI-FI. All linen is supplied including bath towels, beach towels, robes and some toiletries.
Out on the deck is a BBQ for those casual easy meals in the private garden.
Parking is on the premises within the garden setting with your own private access.
An information folder is located in the room with all activities and dining experiences on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula.
Hidden away amongst the melaleucas you will find a tennis court awaiting your use. Have a free game of tennis (racquets and balls supplied) and then relax in hot bath with some oils to pamper those sore muscles you didn?t know you had.
Alternatively, just relax and snuggle up in the king sized bed as you look out onto the beautiful, gardens and abundant, bird life.
If you are looking for private hide-away, centrally located on the Bellarine Peninsula, Bellarine Stayz is the place to come to. Offering some great mid week specials and weekend package deals. Single nights stayz are welcome as are children and infants, with a cot provided.
You will be surrounded by an abundance of beaches, walks, wineries, cafes, restaurants and activities. There are numerous golf courses in the area along with bowls and surf clubs and of course there is Adventure Park within walking distance. Amaze ?n things and mini golf are just up the road.
To get here from the Geelong direction, turn onto Bellarine Hwy B110 and head towards Queenscliff. You will find us16 km from Geelong and 800m past the turn off for Adventure park, on the left with a row of poplar trees lining the driveway with two flags at the entrance of the drive.
If however, you decide to come via the Sorrento-Queenscliff Ferry, once you get off the ferry and you have had a look around Queenscliff, head towards Geelong along the Bellarine Hwy B110. You?ll find us with your complementary bottle of wine waiting for your arrival 16 km along on the right.

As of December 2013 we have a second room to offer which consists of a double bed and bunks. No shower or toilet in this room, it can be used for kids, parent stay in the actual cottage and kids in the second room. It consist of a double bed and bunks. Photos will be published once completed as currently it is under way.
It also can be used for extra people who are friends staying in the actual cottage, so the bathroom can be shared. We will provide further details as it gets closer to finish. Linen and towels will be supplied along with breakfast to accommodate children or adults.
Ocean Grove offers many varied activities including surfing, golf, lawn bowls, tennis, river activities, fishing, wine tasting, mini golf and adventure park. Smith Beach is the town?s ocean beach which is very popular for swimming, surfing and fishing and the surf lifesaving club is located off surf beach road.
The Ocean Grove Bowling Club is within a short distance and offers great food and entertainment with guests always welcome and a courtesy bus service.
Ocean Grove Nature Reserve is 143 hectares of native bushland covered in Sheoak, Tea-tree, Banksia and Wattle and is home to a koala community and the Ant Blue Butterfly discovered only this century. The reserve includes walking tracks and is situated at the Northern edge of Ocean Grove, just around the corner from Bellarine Stayz.
Restaurants in Ocean Grove offer a variety cuisine including Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Indian and Australian with most delivering to your door. Some of the most popular restaurants in Ocean Grove are The Dunes (set on the beach in the sand dunes) overlooking the ocean & Oakdene winery which is only 2 minutes away from us.
Barwon Heads offers fine dining as well including The Heads Restaurant overlooking the bluff and river & The Beach House. We can organize bookings for you if you know in advance as these restaurants are always popular.
Queenscliff is a popular town to enjoy. Bellarine Stayz is located 15 minutes away from this beautiful, small town. Some of the activities include horse drawn carriage rides in summer, Harley rides, old lolly shops, plenty of shopping or take the ferry across the bay to Sorrento and watch the dolphins following and visit the many exclusive hotels and restaurants in the town.
The Bellarine Peninsula is also establishing one of the best wine producing regions in Victoria. To name just a few, Scotchmans Hill, Jack Rabbit, Laura Park which offers live music on Sundays, Bellarine Estate & Mglashin winery all within 10 minutes drive and offer spectacular views as well as wine tastings and excellent food.
The golf courses in and around Bellarine Peninsula are among the best in Australia with Barwon Heads and Thirteenth Beach only 15 minutes away, other outstanding courses include Lonsdale, Clifton Springs and Queenscliff.
A wonderful stay, just wish it could've been longer! Beautiful view, very generous and delicious breakfast hamper, friendly hosts, and the accommodation is very well-equipped. Sharron and her family have done a beautiful job with Bellarine stayz(Breakfast .WE LOVED of bacon +eggs was very generous,Wine ,beer,chocolates O/A.We never saw anybody and at times wondered where everyone was.It was peaceful,The birds feeding at dawn and dusk was beautiful.I especially enjoyed the chooks coming and saying Hello,I can see potential for pet owners when they fence the place off.The Kingsize bed was the best bed I have ever slept in.And the friendly dog who visited morning and night reminded me how much I miss having pets!!!
