Bell Terrace apartments was once a vast family home built by William Bell for his family. Completed in 1887 it is constructed from double brick and blue stone making our apartments more quiet than modern construction.

APARTMENT 3, The whole 1st Floor

Apartment 3 contains 5-6 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large lounge and dining area and a full kitchen. You also have the whole first floor balcony to enjoy (where you can view a tiny slice of the bay).

The bedrooms are as follows;

1 x king bed
1 x queen bed
1 x double bed
2 x single beds
1 x single bed

The room leading to the balcony has a single day bed and we also have a fold out bed that can go in either the king, queen or twin single rooms.

What to see and do

Across our street is the scenic Pevensey Park (with Playground), stroll for one block and you hit the waterfront.

Roll down the hill for the Eastern Beach Water Park precinct with the Beach House cafe and Beach House fine dining upstairs.

You can meander around the bay, past the yacht club and restaurants, the Carousel, the Pier and keep walking to Western Beach to Ripples by the bay. Along the way are numerous playgrounds, skate park and bike tracks.

Back up the hill you will find Geelong Botanic Gardens and Children's Play Space, Easter Park and Conference Centre.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We stayed here over Xmas 2012 for a few days and truly fell in love with the place.The house is 1860s heritage with a real feel of old grandeur including classic stained glass windows. The bathrooms are very modern and while the kitchens are a touch old, there is everything you need.The breakfast food they include is amazing, I have never had such good muesli, yoghurt or banana bread.Dogs are allowed which was fantastic as this allowed us to not only save on dog kennels but have a dog friendly holiday. The owners cat, dog and chickens added to our dogs amusement!The owners are very very friendly and will happily share with you the history of the house.This is a great family holiday destination.The location is also superb with Eastern Beach a very short walk away, as well as the botanic gardens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you're visiting Geelong and need somewhere for the family to stay then you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere better than Bell Terrace. Tough to know where to start with the compliments but it's a stunning property inside and out, very clean and with the most gracious host we've ever had the good fortune to meet.Clearly time and love have gone into this place to make it as good a holiday home as you could hope for. It's sat two minutes walk away from the botanic gardens and about ten from the centre and beaches, and all this at a fantastic price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We found everything as we expected and had all we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was amazing. Wished we could stay longer. Helen was wonderful, especially sending on a left behind toy. Thanks again. Karen and family

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are lovely unusual apartments close to the CBD with lovely welcoming owners as well. The main room is grand and the beds are all very comfortable. It was nice to stay somewhere with history and a sense of place. Some renovations are yet to be done but the bathrooms and kitchen are still very functional.
