'Located in a serene spot overlooking the forest, the owners have thought of everything from an iPod dock to play our favorite music and set the mood, to kerosene lanterns which lit up our hot balmy nights as we spent them out on the secluded veranda having a barbecue with our loved ones. Absolutely everything was thought of, even small things one forgets on holiday such as pepper and salt or cooking oil, there was no disaster to be had as the property had all of the necessities waiting for us 'just in case'. The rooms were all decorated beautifully with bright, colorful linen and contemporary artwork. Although it was very stylish, it felt very homely and welcoming. They also had a plasma tv and a very comfortable lounge room setting which we put to good use watching the tennis over the weekend!
If you are looking to indulge and take your better halve's away for the weekend, it is a couple's paradise. There are 3 rooms which can sleep 3 couples and even a table tennis room set up in the garage to keep up couple rivalry!
We travel frequently on weekend getaway holidays however this property was, without a doubt, the best accommodation that my fiance and I have ever stayed in on Great Ocean Road and probably even Greater Victoria. The other couples were so delighted with it that they kept commending me for finding it and wanted to know more about how I found such a 'gem'. I would not hesitate to book this property again or to recommend it to others. Thanks again for the early check in and late check out!
