This house is in a great location. Walking distance to Lorne shops and cafes. The host Leanne is absoluteIy lovely very friendly and helpful with local information even before we booked that other hosts weren't as helpful with. I was really appreciative of her assistance. However I was disappointed about the cleanliness of this property especially for the price we paid. There was dust and spider webs inside. There was a musty smell in the downstaris living area./ kitchen. Three of us downstaris and third shower in my poor daughter had cold water. Cutlery and glasses in cupboard weren't clean. Only one towel supplied for downstairs apartment. Downstairs TV is analogue and couldn't get it to work for my five year old who was sick and couldn't run around and be out and about as we'd hoped. The upstairs is spacious and the whole property is great for 2 families to share or a group of friends, five bedrooms. It is just a bit tired looking unfortunately and doesn't have the lovely fresh clean feel when you walk in.

Mostly very good, with a few hiccups
Location can't be beaten. The upstairs of the property is beautiful, gorgeous deck and lovely furnishings and very family friendly layout. Unfortunately the downstairs had a very strong damp and mildew odour on arrival and despite our best attempts was still there five days later when we left. Downstairs also needed a bit of a clean, seemed like it had been cleaned awhile ago and not just before our visit. I would rate this 5* if we had only stayed upstairs.

I enjoyed my stay in Lorne but.......
The house and location of the property were perfect, however i was disappointed by the lack of attentions to detail. The property was not as clean as it could have been, dirty balcony furniture and the balcony itself plus other things. Also the house smelt like it had not been opened for a number of weeks, very musky smell and nothing a bottle of air fresher couldn't have fixed. I just expected more.
