Description

1829 is a modern beach house with spectacular views over Lake Victoria and is a 2 minute walk to Pelican Bay beach.

The house comfortably sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms. Bed 1 has a QS. Bed 2 has a double/single bunk and a single. Bed 3 has 2 singles. Doonas with covers are provided, guests to supply their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea towels. This house is ideal for an extended family.

The spacious living area is open plan with sliding door opening onto a large deck with gas BBQ with hood.
The dining area also overlooks the lake and the a-joining kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher.
A gas log fire heats the living area and there is a TV, DVD & video player and also a selection of books, games & DVDs for your amusement.
Downstairs is the second bathroom, laundry and rumpus room with pool table and soccer game.

The property is directly above Pelican Bay beach and foreshore and the National Park is at the end of the street.
Loch Sport boasts numerous walking and cycling tracks around the town and along the shores of the Lakes. The ninety mile beach is a 5 minute drive along the causeway.

Well behaved pets are welcome, inside only, as the property is not fenced. Guests to bring own pet beds and clean up hair etc. Please don't let your pet sit on the furniture. (Pets must be notified on booking). There are lots of nice doggy walks along Lake Victoria and at the ninety mile beach.

Normal arrival time is after 2pm and departure 10am. These times can be flexible -by arrangement only.

Wildlife is prolific at Loch Sport. Look out for the family of kangaroos that come up to the house most evenings. There is also a koala that sometimes frequents the gum tree next to the house. The hog deer which normally reside in the National Park have also been known to come for a walk up Pelican Street.
Fishing and boating are popular pastimes, with Paynesville being only 20 minutes away by power boat. Also water skiing, wakeboarding, jetskiing, wind surfing, sailing and other water activities. There is also a great pub, RSL. marina, tennis courts, bowls club, golf course, mini golf and Boat Club.

$200 Deposit is required to secure a booking. Finals due 2 weeks before commencement except Dec/Jan hols when finals to be paid by mid November

Our teenagers were occupied with plenty to do both in the house and around the area. Thankyou Sheila, you are a pleasure to deal with.

We recommend this property to anyone who wants to unwind and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Guaranteed you will not want to leave!

The house was really well thought through with entertainment if the weather wasn't so good. We had some kangaroos come up to the house which was really fun to watch, and it was lovely to just relax and to hear the odd crack of thunder off in the distance.
