Traeth Mor is a unique, six-bedroom house that comfortably sleeps up to twelve people, and overlooks the delightful waters of Newlands Arm just a couple of minutes from the centre of Paynesville.
This spacious, secluded home is bright and airy, and is perfectly equipped for your enjoyment with two large living areas, four bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, laundry and parking for several vehicles and boats. The whole house is warm in winter, with a gas log fire upstairs and a large space heater downstairs. We welcome pets, who are allowed in the house.
For complete holiday relaxation, there is a swimming pool and an entertaining area complete with pool table, and off the elevated main lounge is a large balcony with views across rambling gardens and open bushland teeming with native birds, that slopes gently down from the house to the lake.
Jutting proudly from the property's foreshore is a large, private jetty, that's perfect for boating, swimming or fishing, and on either side of the jetty are spectacular walking trails that meander along the beautiful lakeside and into the township.
Traeth Mor is the perfect place to come and relax, and to enjoy all the delights that this special part of the Gippsland Lakes has to offer.

Main bedroom: queen bed, balcony and water views, huge ensuite with bath, separate shower and WC.

The well-equipped kitchen is extremely large including breakfast table and heaps of bench space. Reverse cycle airconditioner.
Lounge/dining: seating around the dining table for 12. Gas log fire and airconditioner. Glass wall with access to balcony and lake views.
Sheltered north-facing courtyard with comfortable outdoor furniture and barbeque.
Bedroom 4: double bed and adjoining bathroom with shower and WC. Glass doors with lake views.
Bedroom 5: twin single beds. Windows with lake views.
Second living area with pool table, books, games and TV, opens onto a brick patio area. Air conditioner and large gas space heater.
Poolside flat (bedroom 6): double bed and bathroom with shower and WC. French doors opening onto patio, garden and pool deck.
Quality bed linen and towels are supplied.
Smoking only outside the house please.
Because of the proximity of water, children 0-4 years who cannot swim are not accepted.
Well-behaved pets are welcome, and are allowed inside. There is a secure fenced area for them.

Explore Paynesville and the Gippsland Lakes
The Lakes offer something for everyone: a sandy swimming beach for the kids is just down the walking track at Sunset Cove, or you can swim and fish from our long jetty or the beach, public wharf and jetties in Paynesville. The sheltered waters of Newlands Arm are ideal for a range of watersports such as water skiing, kayaking, canoeing, yachting, or windsurfing.
If you have a boat it's only minutes to Raymond Island, Picnic Arm, Duck Arm, Rotamah Island or Ocean Grange with access to 90 miles of pristine surf beach. The resorts of Metung and Lakes Entrance are a little further, and there are miles of rivers to explore by boat.
A short walk, cycle or drive takes you into the village of Paynesville, where you will find many cafes and restaurants, two supermarkets and a range of specialist shops.
