One of the best places I have stayed at with dogs - fully fenced & plenty of space & shade for them. Made even better by the fact that we could have them inside with us. Loved it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrific spot We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet & peaceful. Our little dog enjoyed it too. Very comfortable accommodation. Beautiful outlook. The yard is very secure even for small dogs like ours.There is plenty of room outside for children to play.My daughter loves horses, so it was a bonus that the horses were friendly.It has everything to make your stay easy. Heating/cooling, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge.There are a couple of nice outdoor eating areas.Enjoyed watching the wrens looking for food on the lawn. Were greatly amused by the resident peacock,outside the dinning area, looking in the window. It made itself quite comfortable watching us. It also liked to walk along the roof. Maybe that's what we heard at 6.30am, and it wasn't "a hippopotamus on the roof eating cake". Not far to small towns like Kilmore & Heathcote where interesting cafes can be found. Reasonable distance to vineyards.The only downfall was it could sleep up to 9, and there was only 1 bathroom & toilet downstairs & the toilet is in the bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, peaceful and very comfortable The Mews lived up to its description and photos. Stayed for 2 nights with our 3 dogs, and wished we could come back again soon. Anne provided excellent directions, very good communications before our stay and after. The house is just lovely, and full of things that made us smile - the ornaments at the kitchen window, the enormous hare on the dressage arena, the pretty garden through the windows, the amazing beds and my daughter loved Astroboy and the bathtub! We found it close enough to Melbourne to be readily accessible, and far enough away that the nights were pitch black and full of stars. Very glad we did our research on Stayz and found somewhere so special.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband and I, along with our 3 dogs had a fantastic Easter break at The Mews-Charan Hills. We have stayed at other places and this was by far the most comfortable, private and accommodating. For those of you wanting a pet friendly place this is perfect. The area is fenced, grassed and also has a huge undercover area. We can't wait til next time. Thanks Anne, Chuck & family.
