Those with doggies will enjoy the wide open spaces for walking, running, playing with their dogs (or without dogs).
There are bque facilities in the park .... one can sit and watch the sun go down, have your doggie playing in the park whilst you enjoy your bque in the park. All this is immediately outside the apartment.
We also offer doggie day care, walking you can enjoy a days outing and leave your doggie to be cared for.

ParkSide is 4 kms from the CBD, has off street parking - public transport gives direct access to the CBD, MCG, Casino, Federation Square, Tennis Centre, Colonial Stadium, & Bayside Beache. Clifton Hill is an inner-city Melbourne suburb bordered by Fairfield, Collingwood, N Fitzroy & Kew. Clifton Hill is 4 kms from the CBD and is easily accessible from Tullamarine Freeway by car, taxi or bus.
Clifton Hill is a junction for two rail lines and a train journey to the city takes 8 minutes.

Beside Clifton Hill Railway Station there is a bus station - there are buses to Melbourne University, the Zoo, the Bay Beaches, MCG, and St Kilda.
Clifton Hill is well served by parks and gardens including Darling Gardens and ParkSide is situated on Quarries Park. An attractive local shopping strip is located along Queens Pde on the border of N Fitzroy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Parkside Stay - Quiet Perfection I have just spent 2 days & nights (5th August to 7th August) at Parkside Stay and it was just perfect for my short visit to Melbourne. The location has easy access into the city via public transport and close to wonderful restaurants and shops. Nearby Queens Pde has great coffee and pastry cafes. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well maintained, warm and cosy with a peaceful ambience, just great for a good nights sleep. The kitchenette, convenient for preparing breakfasts & lunches. Wendy, the host provided excellent information about the locality as well as Melbourne city. This delightful apartment adjacent to parklands is highly recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tiny down stairs of a Town house, Owner upstairs during my stay i received 15 sms`s , phone calls and she was always popping in I was there 4 nights, she also comes in while your out !!!!, so many rules like being in a prison Camp felt uncomfortable, I had problems sleeping as windows have been lodged open and it was cold and noisey. Lights on a 15 min timer in hall/kitchen & bathroom, TV on timer, cook top does not heat up no oven, you cant adjust heater, no shoes even though its concert floor, water in shower turns cold after a while as if it gets turned off, felt like we were being watched. Owner upstairs has a dog and does dog day care you can here feet and paws moving around. i have stayed in many great places from the Stayz Website, but this is not one of them, I would not stay there again !!!

The apartment is located in a quiet street that is only a 10 minute walk to public transport into the CBD. This suited my needs perfectly. The apartment is cosy, warm and private with a view to a well maintained courtyard garden -- the the king sized bed was comfortable. Wendy the owner was very helpful in providing me with information about Clifton Hill and Melbourne.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Stay Thanks for another great stay at ParksideStay. The accommodation was again incredibly fresh and clean. Everything meticulously presented and the location superb. The adjacent park is such a bonus for Kev, our 3 yr old cattle dog, who made great use it, including meeting many new dog friends. Wendy, the owner, was again attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will certainly be back

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lacking Privacy Great Location & very clean. Owner lives upstairs & is constantly watching. Major issue was owner coming into house without notice while we were there!!! I felt like my privacy was violated & she also entered the house multiple times while we were out too. We had numerous phone calls & messages from the owner about trivial things during the stay. Have you taken your shoes off, windows must be open during the day, the blind on the front window isn't allowed to be shut... making privacy from the road an issue. Shame as its a perfect location.
