Visit the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Crown Casino Complex, South Bank, National Art Gallery of Victoria, Federation Square or Melbourne Concert Hall.

Take a 20 minute walk, or 5 minute tram ride to Albert Park, home of the Australian Grand Prix.

Stroll down to Prahran Market and buy all your fresh produce for your stay or shop in Chapel street, the fashion capital of Melbourne.

A five minute walk away enjoy Fawkner Park with its numerous bike paths, children's playgrounds, tennis courts and lush green areas to enjoy a picnic.

A 20 minute walk through Fawkner Park to the Royal Botanical Gardens where you can stroll through the gardens and feed the ducks or enjoy a meal and drink at the two cafés.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stay here you won't be disappointed The owner was a pleasure to deal with throughout our contact. She met us on arrival and gave us a lot of helpful advice for the local area and the home. The home is very comfortable and has everything you need and a bit more. We arrived in cool weather and really appreciated the individual heaters in the bedrooms and the family area/kitchen has a really effective reverse cycle airconditioner. The home is ideally located, not far from Melbourne city and a tram within a 2 minute walk. For us though who love to cook we had some fabulous choices of fresh and gourmet food at the Prahan Markets which was only a 10 minute walk away. A fantastic variety and we were able to cook up a storm in the well equipped kitchen. We also have a sweet tooth so there were lots of options here. This is definitely a nice place to stay and would highly recommend it. On a practical note also the owner refunded the security bond very promptly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Place to Stay Fantastic, beautiful house. Plenty of room for 6, comfortable beds, warm for the winter. Kitchen is well equipped - even with coffee pod machine. Bathroom has washer/dryer. Tram is about 2 mins walk down the road which gets you straight into Melbourne in about 15 mins or to interchange stops to get you elsewhere. Chapel Road is 5 mins walk, close to supermarkets, 7Eleven for your Myki Card and plenty of restaurants/cafes. Also Prahran Food Market is within walking distance. Highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great property for a family I can highly recommend this property for a family. It easily accommodated our family of 5 and traveling with young children it was great to have our own place with kitchen and washing machine. We arrived at the property late in the evening to a friendly welcome from Robyn and Hugh. They even helped us carry our luggage inside, so that we could transport our sleeping kids. They provided us with lots of valuable information about the are and the facilities around us. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately kept. There are some nice extra touches, like the pod coffee machine with some pods supplied and an assortment of teas also provided, as well as plastic crockery for the kids if you're worried they're going to break 'the real thing'. The property is also very conveniently located with a tram stop at the end of the road that takes you all the way into the CBD, around the corner from Prahran Market and close to tram Connections to Richmond. The property is also good value for money for a larger than average family like ours, as there are no extra charges for additional guests.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great location comfortable house We stayed with our family in January 2014 & thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house offered everything we needed and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The location was great. We loved strolling to the Prahan market  and Chapel St. Dinner with the kids at Grilled was a hit, great gourmet hamburgers. Have recommended to all our friends in Brisbane & hope to come back one day ourselves.  Cheers Denise & Ron
