Melbourne Holiday Apartments - City Docklands 1 is perfect for families or friends visiting Melbourne. Walk to shops, restaurants, trendy pubs, cafes, activities and entertainment . This is a very new and exciting tourist precinct on the Melbourne waterfront. To the city centre, its just a short walk or 5 minute ride on the free city circle tram, free tourist bus, or pay trams 86 or 70. Etihad Stadium is just a very short walk and its just 20 minutes on tram 70 to the MCG, AAMI Park and the Melbourne Park Tennis Centre.
We charge per apartment, not per person.
The maximum number of people is 5.
Discounts apply to bookings of 7-nights or more.
Bedding, bath towels and basic supplies are provided.
The apartment is not serviced daily, however, we do provide plenty of towels and there are laundry facilities in the apartment. Bookings of 14-nights or longer are offered a free weekly mid-stay apartment clean, which includes changing bed linen and refreshing bath towels.
1st Bedroom - 1 x king bed, or 2 x long-single (twin beds)
2nd Bedroom - 1 x king bed, or 2 x long-single (twin beds)
Living Room - 1 x day bed (if required)
Porta-cots and high chairs are available upon request (at no charge) - cot linen is not supplied.
One under-building car park is available if required at a charge of $10 per night (maximum height clearance 2.2m).
From your living room and large private balcony you overlook the Southern Star Observation Wheel and from the bedrooms you will enjoy some city views. You also look out on all the activity of the Harbour Town cafes, shops, etc. Please note that the wheel will not be operating until late 2013.
This very quiet, modern, 2-bedroom, fourth floor (with lift access), corner apartment is at the Harbour Town cafe and retail shopping precinct at Waterfront City, Melbourne Docklands. Its just 200 metres from the Victoria Harbour New Quay waterfront promenade with its harbourside restaurants and regular activities. There is also an ice skating centre (The Icehouse), which is open for public ice skating daily.
The apartment itself has 2 bedrooms, one central bathroom with shower over shallow bath and laundry facilities, including washing machine and clothes dryer. The kitchen overlooks the open-plan living/dining area and is well-equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove/oven and a microwave oven. The living/dining area is stylishly furnished and contains an LCD television and Bose surround sound lifestyle system. Both bedrooms have city views, built-in wardrobes, fresh air and lots of natural light.
Special features include; private balcony, reverse cycle heating/air-conditioning with heating to all rooms, intercom, electronic door entry system and lift access to the apartment.
Internet - there is WiFi to the apartment for browsing only (no downloads). Charges apply.
You will be greeted personally on your arrival
Check in: 2pm to 7pm (key collection and luggage drop can be from 10:30am by prior arrangement).
An arrival after 7pm can be accommodated but an out of hours charge of $60 will apply.

The apartment had everything we needed and more! The location is perfect with shops, cafe's, restaurants, trams and a free bus right on the doorstep. Being greeted personally by Jason was fantastic and he was more than happy to help us with directions and good eating spots at any time. This was our first time using Stayz and it was so easy. After being met by Jason and shown to the apartment we were able to have breakfast at a coffee shop in Harbour Town, then off to explore Melbourne. Great spot to stay with the tram at the door. Would highly recommend. Apartment was clean, tidy and very central to everything. Weather was perfect, missed the rain in NSW. We had a fabulous week stay at the apartment. As testified, Jason was a most wonderful host/manager. We appreciate the detailed attention given to the needs of a travelling family. Everything you need is provided for. Location is superb, lots of things to do, close to town, easy transport and it's free! Would love to come back again. Jason true host who literally walked us to the door and helped us with our mountain of luggage. He told us all the places to go for a family. The apt was fantastic and had everything a family could want. Lovely and clean, and you have to walk past the shops to get to your apt. Family visit with three children. A lovely apartment in a superb location.We received a warm welcome on arrival. Fantastic views from the terrace and from the huge picture windows. All the attractions of Docklands on your doorstep and a free bus or tram right outside the door to take you into the heart of Melbourne in a few minutes.
