City Docklands 2 is perfect for families or friends visiting Melbourne. Walk to shops, restaurants, trendy pubs, cafes, activities and entertainment. This is a very new and exciting tourist precinct on the Melbourne waterfront. To the city centre, its just a short walk or 5 minute ride on the free City Circle tram, free tourist bus, or pay trams 86 or 70. Etihad Stadium is a few minutes around the harbour and its just 20 minutes on tram number 70 to the MCG, AAMI Park and the Melbourne Park Tennis Centre.

Bedding, bath towels and basic supplies are provided.

The apartment is not serviced daily, however, we do provide plenty of towels and there are laundry facilities in the apartment. Bookings of 14-nights or longer are offered a free weekly mid-stay apartment clean, which includes changing bed linen and refreshing bath towels.

2nd Bedroom - 1 x king bed, or 2 x long-single (twin beds)
Living Room - 1 x day bed (if required)

Porta-cots and high chairs are available upon request (at no charge) - cot linen is not supplied.

One under-building car parking space is available at a charge of $10 per night (maximum height clearance 2.2m)

From your living room you will enjoy views of the Southern Star Observation Wheel, and from your large private balcony you look out on all the activity of the Harbour Town shops, etc. On one side of the apartment its like being on the ground level with a large secure private courtyard, but on the other side of the apartment you realise you are actually 2 levels up (yes, there is lift access to the apartment). Please note that the wheel will not be operating until late 2013.

This very quiet, modern, 2-bedroom apartment is at the Harbour Town cafe and retail shopping precinct at Waterfront City, Melbourne Docklands. Its just 200 metres from the Victoria Harbour New Quay waterfront promenade with its harbourside restaurants and regular entertainment. There is also an ice skating centre (The Icehouse), which is open for public ice skating daily.

The apartment itself has 2 bedrooms, one central bathroom with shower over bath and laundry facilities, including washing machine and clothes dryer. The kitchen overlooks the open-plan living/dining area and is well-equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove/oven and a microwave oven. The living/dining area is stylishly furnished and contains a large 52 inch LCD television and Bose surround sound lifestyle system. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, fresh air and lots of natural light.

Special features include; private outdoor areas, reverse cycle heating / air-conditioning with heating to all rooms, intercom, electronic door entry system and lift access to the apartment.

Internet - there is WiFi to the apartment for browsing only (no downloads). Additional charges apply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Location and Property Great location and perfect for our group of Ice Hockey enthusiasts. Only a short stroll to the rink and tram stop to head into the city. This apartment was very comfortable and has everything you need as if it were your own house. Close to great restaurants and above Harbour Town Shopping meant there was no need to head into the city. Highly recommended to all. Will be staying here again.

My sons enjoyed cooking in the apartment but if only the hob was of stronger suction capability. Its get smokey after a while., Anyway we have a great time in melbourne.

Advantages��� Whilst the location is just beyond the CBD, being one level above a shopping centre was surprisingly pleasant with quiet nights.��� The apartment and the kitchen had everything needed for a longer stay��� Jason, the manager, was polite, helpful and prompt in his communication.��� The fenced in outdoor area was nice for the kids. Disadvantages��� The apartment needs a spring cleaning. Whilst we didn���t find it dirty the walls, coach etc could certainly use a cleaning. Nothing a few hours of touching up couldn���t fix��� Plenty of dining options when the shopping centre is open however limited grocery options in the area. If you���re are staying for a long stretch you may need to visit a larger CBD grocery store at the beginning of your trip

The location, being right at the tram station (also free tram) and right in the middle of Docklands and the Harbourtown Shopping Centre, is just amazing. I loved that the apartment was on top of the shopping centre because it was absolutely quiet but you are right in the middle of shops and cafes if you want to be.The apartment itself was spotless and the size was absolutely perfect for 5 people. The kitchen was fully equipped and the whole apartment was very comfy. The bathroom was very clean and big enough.Jason, the owner, is such a nice and helpful guy and tries everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.It's the perfect apartment for a city stay in Melbourne!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have stayed in this apartment twice now and found it a terrific experience on both occassions. Fantastic access to the city as well as the suburbs via public transport and close to so many other ammenities, while still retaining something of a feeling of home. For a football fan such as myself the proximity to the Docklands Stadium made the location all the better. Jason was terrific nothing was too much trouble, even being delayed by over an hour getting into Melbourne and not arriving at the apartment until late in the eveing. Thoroughly recommend this unit.
