The Riverside WalkAt Warburton, this beautiful walk is immensely popular with locals and visitors. The walk can begin or end at any of the six bridges crossing the Yarra behind the township. The total walk is around 5 km, with a number of attractive rest stops along the way. There are BBQ and picnic facilities. |

WirraWilla Rainforest BoardwalkLocated off Sylvia Creek Road about 4km from the Myers Creek Road in Toolangi - this beautiful boardwalk meanders through a cool temperate rainforest. It is a natural wonder and is worthwhile visiting in any season. During Summer it is amazing how cool it is under the canopy of myrtle beech, southern Sassafras and majestic tree ferns. Stroll over bridges that criss cross the cool, clear mountain stream and listen out for the calls of the elusive lyrebirds. |
