Has potential but disappointing - 2.5 stars
We found the property has pretty good views but it was very disappointing to find the windows so dirty that we couldn't enjoy the view without first cleaning all of the top windows. Unfortunately the outside windows and doors had plenty of cobwebs around them.
Inside it was also a little disappointing to find the bathroom needing a good clean to bring it up to an acceptable standard for this type of accommodation. The shower had mould around the silicone and the bathroom ceiling fan sounded like it was on its last legs.
The rug in the lounge felt dirty and required cleaning, the television was quite old and stereo system didn't work.
Thankfully the beds were reasonable and bed linen was nice.
Overall we were quite disappointed and unfortunately we could not recommend this stay to our friends wanting to visit Albany. This home has great potential, just need to step up the cleaning standard and update some furnishings.

Pity it wasn't clean . Windows so dirty we had to clean them ourselves on arrival to appreciate the view . Also the bath and surround and the shower weren't clean.

Excellent location, very poorly managed
We were looking forward to this accommodation, but it was a great disappointment. If the lower level had been dusted, it was at least days ago. The windows were dirty, with cobwebs, the refrigerator shelves hadn't,t been cleaned, no tea, coffee making. Up stairs and no handrail, the bedrooms were better but bedside lamps very dusty. Comfortable beds. Shower base had mould on inside, but was grubby overall. No soap, no hair dryer, just one bath towel each, no face cloth. Definitely not 5 star. We sent email to owner (Ros) but no response. Allan
