We are located in the heart of Fremantle City centre. No need for a car, walk, ride a free council provided bike, hire a scooter, catch a free Cat bus or walk to the Rottnest ferry terminal. However, if you do have a car, we have free parking. The City of Fremantle provides free bike hire, including electric bikes, however, a substantial bond of between AU$200-500 does apply. If the bike is returned in good order the bond is automatically refunded. Specific hours of use apply including 9.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri. For further details see the City of Fremantle website.

The FREMANTLE CRUISE TERMINAL is also nearby and we do free terminal pick ups or drop offs if you require this service. Free Cruise Ship Terminal transfers to and from the terminal available if at least 7 days notice is provided.

This is a fully equipped, one bedroom, apartment in the heart of the Fremantle city centre. Freo Espresso has a comfortable, quality, queen size bed, one bathroom/ensuite (shower, toilet and basin), separate lounge and fully equipped kitchen. Sorry no fold out beds, cots or couches.

Due to City Council rules, we cannot accommodate children, two adults maximum. Minimum 2 nights stay.

Longer stays of more than 14 nights attract further discounts please ask.

If you are coming from Perth airport by cab, ask the driver to take you to Fremantle via Tonkin and Leach Highways. This is the most direct route. If you are arriving by car, the information directly below is very important:

Arriving by CAR: This apartment is located at 23 Adelaide Street, Fremantle HOWEVER, the car park is situated at the REAR of the building on Josephson Street. You will need to bring your car to Josephson Street and look for the large, green, iron gates (as seen in the pictures provided on this site, please check these pictures carefully so you know where to bring your car).

This is STRICTLY a NON-SMOKING property. The over use of purfume or deoderant will NOT cover cigarette smells and will only make the problem worse for incoming guests. Extra cleaning fees of $100 apply to guests who ignore this rule. Once your booking is confirmed it is assumed by the owners that you agree to this specific condition of your stay.

Free WIFI is provided not available in the apartment however, it is available throughout the city centre by the Fremantle City Council and can be accessed from the town square (100m). Free power points are provided by the city outside the Town Hall. Look for FREBytes in your network connections. 2 hour access 100mb of upload and 100mb download during each 2 hour session. Fremantle Council connection agreement applies. Free power points for laptops are available outside the Tourist Information Centre.

A pay phone is located in the front of the building n Adelaide Street. Reverse charge local and international calls can be made from this phone.

Popular Attractions & Transport

Freo Espresso is ideally located on the 7th floor of the tallest building in the city centre. There are two lifts to take you to your floor. Fantastic views! Both balconies, front and rear, are open. So you can watch the ships coming and going within the port.

The apartment is within walking distance of Fremantle's 'Cappuccino Strip', popular pubs and micro breweries (including Little Creatures), movie theatres, weekend markets, fishing boat harbour restaurants, and loads of other entertainment facilities. On your doorstep you will find The Loft Cafe on Adelaide Street serving delicious Thai food at very reasonable cafe prices. Around the corner on Point Street the Vivisen serves up delightful, contemporary Chinese food with a modern twist.

You can see the nearby Target department store as well as Woolworths and Coles supermarkets from the front and rear balconies, all 2-5 minutes walk away. Being centrally located in the heart of Fremantle's business district, this apartment is situated near most major banks, ATMs, trusted money changers and a very reliable tourist information centre. Close to Fremantle hospital and Notre Dame University. Fremantle public golf course is also only minutes away.

Only a few minutes walk to the Rottnest ferry terminal, aquatic centre, art museum, Old Fremantle Gaol tours, High Street shopping mall, tourist tram, the Round House, Maritime museum, E-Shed weekend markets, Fishing Boat Harbour, internet cafes and mobile phone stores.

Just a short stroll (less than 500 meters) to trains (to Perth CBD) and buses that connect to the Perth. The free 'CAT' buses run circular routes regularly within the Fremantle city area and these buses include free transport to many popular Fremantle tourist destinations. The nearest stop is less than 200 meters from this apartment.

The apartment is also located in a large residential block and therefore, it should be noted, that guests will need to be mindful of their neighbours, keeping noise to an absolute minimum after 10pm.

We need to know your arrival time in Fremantle so that we can meet you with the keys. We also need to know if you are arriving by car or taxi as this affects where we meet you with the keys.

Free Cruise Ship Terminal transfers are available to and from the terminal with a minimum 7 days notice.

Our property is registered with the local government council, under their rules, we can only accommodate a maximum of two adults for a minimum of two nights stay. We CANNOT accommodate children under 16 years in this apartment.

A cab fee should be approximately AU$65-$70 to Fremantle from the Perth Airport. The journey should take 35-50 minutes to complete the 30km drive. Ask the cab driver to take you to Fremantle via Tonkin and Leach Highways as this is the most direct route.

NON-SMOKING facility. Smoking is prohibited in almost every space within this complex. A building manager lives on site and will enforce this regulation. Guests who smoke in this complex risk immediate eviction. The over use of perfumes, deodorants or air fresheners will not cover the smell of cigarette smoke and will only makes things worse for incoming guests. An extra cleaning fee of $100 will be added if guests break this rule. Once you confirm your booking you are agreeing this condition of your stay.

The building is in a fantastic location, easy walking distance to everything in central Fremantle as well as trains, ferries and buses. The owners were really helpful and have made sure the apartment is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. As an added bonus it is the basis for the apartment block that features in Tim Winton's new book Eyrie!

For those travelling to Fremantle and in need of a nice quiet apartment with built in kitchenette, I would highlight recommend this place. The neighbours are also very friendly. It makes my stay very pleasant.

Great rates matched the great location that Fremantle has to offer, very clean and well equipped. The owners are as friendly and helpful as you will meet anywhere! If needed I would certainly return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family, friends and business colleagues.
