The apartment is available for two adults only. It is suitable for those guests who like a quiet lifestyle.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for children due to health and safety issues because of a deep pool adjacent to the main bedroom.

There are parks surrounding the property. The area has lots of birds for those who love nature.

The apartment is located about 1km from a safe swimming beach in a leafy culdesac surrounded by shady gum trees and parks.The surrounding area has a great seaside holiday feel. We are 25 minutes from the Swan Valley wineries.

Shopping at Whitfords City (250 shops) is only 3 minutes by car and a bus stop for travel to the city via onward train service is only 150m away. Taking your car to the city centre is about 30mins.

Enjoy the experience of The Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail - a 32km scenic loop taking in more than 150 wineries, lively breweries, fine restaurants, bustling cafes distilleries, shops, accommodation outlets and roadside stalls selling fresh produce. The Valley is only 25 mins car ride away.

Fremantle is about 40 mins away by car to visit the Fremantle markets, Maritime Museum, Fremantle Prison or fish and chips at the small boat harbour. Some of the best beaches in Perth are on the way to Fremantle :- Scarborough Beach, City Beach and Cottesloe Beach. Our own beach at Mullaloo is about 1km away.

The bedroom opens to a leafy courtyard near a grove of small gum trees with BBQ. Secure Wifi and parking available. Golf courses are 10 mins away.

The apartment is spacious about 80 square metres with a large dining and entertaining area on the south side of the building with your own private access and key. A large bedroom with queen and single beds with private ensuite and separate toilet and direct access to a garden. A grapevine pergola provides extra shade for relaxing . Linen and beach towels are supplied.

Hillarys boat Harbour is ten minutes by car for restaurants and entertainment with trips to Rottnest Island about 18km offshore. Bike rides along the Sunset Coast cycle paths are a great way to see the beaches and sunsets along the Indian Ocean.

The house is located on a small hill and catches the cool sea breezes of the Indian Ocean on hot Summer days.Aircondition is provided in the family room and ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Arrival and Departure times

We try to be flexible with departure times if another guest is not arriving until the following day. However, if guests are arriving and departing on the same day our checkin time is 2pm and departure time 10am as we need at least 4 hours for cleaning and preparation for the new guest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic place Our stay at cozy appt for 2 was amazing. Ollie welcomed us when we arrived from the U.K. Showing us all the local amenities within a short walk. We did not hire a car which is not necessary as the public transport is efficient & cheap In the city the buses are free.The apartment is set in beautiful gardens with use of a lovely pool and just a 15 min walk to one of the best beaches in perth. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Would definitely want to return in the future.

Pool out the back, 2km from a great beach, public transport makes it very easy to get to Joondalup and surrounding suburbs. Very nice and genuine couple that own the apartment, gave us everything we needed, making our trip that much more easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic home away from home! With this tranquil, green and pretty setting, just a short walk from the beach or the great Whitfords mall, you couldn't ask for more. Ample space and all you need for a comfortable stay, the hospitality afforded by your hosts will make your stay all the better. Having stayed on four separate occasions over five months, I can honestly say this would be my choice if I needed a place to stay again. Thanks Ollie and Maryellen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic stay Booked to stay at Cosy apartment for 2 as a short stay rental (3 weeks) as my wife and I were emigrating to Perth. We found it to be a perfect start to our new life in Australia. Thanks to google we already knew the apartment was close to the beach and we found the apartment at the end of a quiet and beautiful cul-de-sac. The location was perfect for us as I was due to start work in joondalup after a couple of weeks. We were met by Ollie and what a lovely guy we found him to be. We were made to feel so welcome after a long journey and relaxed into our new home immediately. After dropping off our bags we went for a 10 minute stroll down the hill to Mullaloo beach. To put things into context I've been lucky enough to visit plenty of beaches from lakes, seas and oceans and I can honestly say I was gob smacked. It's long, clean, white, fine and empty. It's on an ocean but not tidal and so peaceful. Down there is a park with free bbq's, kids play areas and opposite a bar/restaurant etc. a fantastic place for families, couples (anyone really) to hang out. We spent our first evening watching one of the best sunsets I've ever seen dropping over the horizon (it's facing due west so I've seen it every night I've been here!!) On returning to the apartment we found it to be very comfortable and fully equipped for our needs (if we had kids it would probably meet those needs too). The apartment is at the rear of Ollie and Mary Ellen's house but felt as if it was private. The kitchen/living area was huge with all the stuff you need and expect. There is a huge bedroom with attached bathroom and separate toilet. The bedroom leads out back to the pool garden area. Little to say except it was lovely. We spent most of our time out here just relaxing. My wife and I stayed at this apartment as a short stop after moving to Australian. We have made our permanent home only a few hundred meters down the road as we love the area so much. Great location, great beaches, easy access to city etc. would recommend it to anyone either for a relax holiday, a base to explore Perth area or a short stop if relocating here.
