Roleys on the Ridge is by far one of the best locations in Roleystone, with valley views and character style building and verandahs. It has a toasty pot belly stove to warm the spirits, lovely jarrah beams in the roof and wooden floorboards. The corrugated iron walls and roof give it a warm homely ambience so its no wonder new owners Brad and Melanie Richards fell in love with this unique resturant in such a spectacular location. Melanie is a local teacher and Brad, the head chef has had over twenty years experience in fine dining places including Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, Hyatt Regency Adelaide and Lake Karrinyup Country Club. This resturant has a warm and inviting feeling and is quickly gaining recognition as a great place to eat. The menu is a mixture of modern Australian cuisine and all menu items are made in house. Our fantastic cake and dessert menu will have you leaving full and satisfied. If you have never tasted the Scottish delicacy Banoffi Pie then you should spend some time in Roleystone and be absolutely impressed by the rich flavours. Children are fully catered for with a great menu with a main dish, drink and a chocolate frog for $11. The Theatre has a kiosk that sells light refreshments as well as a licenced bar that is open before, during and after a show. Cahuna Wild Life Park

Situated half way up the hill on Canning Mills Road overlooking the city of Perth. Magnificent views and restaurant. Wild life sanctuary for koalas, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots. Children will love this.

Park by the bridge on Soldiers road and meander four hundred meters along the track and arrive at `Roley Pool', a natural calm water pool where you can find native wildlife in their natural environment as well as very secluded picnic facilities.

Fruit orchards, Karragullen

Drive up the hills from Tonkin Road and Canning Mills intersection and leave the city behind. Meander through the Jarrah forest and continue along Canning Mills Road until you begin to see the fruit orchards peeking through the trees. Sampling and purchase of fruit from various sheds is a highlight!
