Kite surfing is the latest extreme sport that is providing an adrenalin rush to anyone who loves the outdoors. In this course we will take you from safety and kite setup all the way through to being in the water with the kite and board.
Kite surfing is the latest extreme sport that is providing an adrenalin rush to anyone who loves the outdoors. We have 4 separate lesson levels so depending on your experience, whether you are just starting out or ready for jumps and tricks, we have a range of lessons to suit.
Ever wanted to learn to climb? Whether you are just starting out or have been climbing gym walls for years, our rockclimbing course will get you climbing on the real thing! This 2 day adventure is the perfect introductory course for anyone wanting to get in touch with the outdoors.

Fishing/CrabbingWhether it's beach, rock, inshore of offshore fishing, Rockingham is the ideal base. With 3 boat ramps within 5 minutes of the house you can choose which one to use depending on the wind and tide. Seagate Beach Retreat has room for boat trailer and car. Blue Manna crabs are also easily caught in the shallow waters off Palm beach and Point Peron. |

Golf anyone!Local courses include Rockingham Golf Club, Rockingham driving range, Secret harbour Golf links, Port Kennedy Golf Course. If you wish to drive a little further (up to 30 minutes) you can also get to Kwinana Golf Club, Meadow Springs and others. This website has some contact details for each of them. |

Harley ToursFancy seeing the coastline, winetasting or seeing some of the other sites around. Do it with the wind in your hair by going on a Harley Tour. From half an hour up to full day tours. |

Kayak Marine ParkThis is one of my favourite activities when we stay at Seagate Beach Retreat which is only 5 minutes away. Grab a Kayak and explore the many islands of the Shoalwater Marine Park. Rivergods takes you on an escorted tour and you get as close as you can to many forms of marine life. Even snorkel with inquisitive seals, penguins and dolphins. These islands are very close to the mainland so you don't have to be very fit to have a go at this. Not to be missed! |

SurfingIf you are into surfing or waveskiing check out this website for info. The best months for surfing in WA are in the winter and if the big swells are in you are only a 5 minute drive from some awesome waves. Secret harbour (about 20 minute drive) has surf most of the year, and also has a surf lifesaving club. |

What to see

Penguin IslandAbout a 5 minute drive from Seagate Beach Retreat is Penguin Island. A ferry transports you over the 200-300 metre sand bar (which can be walked at low tide) to this nature reserve and marine park. See Penguins, Seals and all sorts of bird and marine life. A Great day out! |
