A rare Jewel.
What an amazing stay we had at Boranup Chalet Jewel, everything was so good. The Chalet is set in a lovely location with an abundance of wild life, the birds were a wonder to watch, the accommodation was perfect, it was clean, comfortable and catered for all our needs. The location was ideal for exploring the Margaret River area and being set in the marvellous Karri tree forest was an extra bonus. We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to stay there again.

Nice cottage but unhappy dealings with owner
The cottage itself was nice enough in a bush setting.
However we have been left with a negative feeling as we have had over half our cleaning bond held back even though when we entered the property there were dead insects and dust throughout - in particular lots of dead ants in the kitchen.
We made a point of leaving the kitchen in particular spotless and removing the dead insects from most of the interior of the house . We also brought all of our own bedding and linen as instructed but still the owner refused refunding our cleaning bond in full which is just ridiculous.

Beautiful location, peaceful and secluded
The Chalet is nice and cosy for a weekend getaway. The spa both was thoroughly enjoyed by the family after a long day of sightseeing.

This cottage was an absolute pleasure to stay and great value for money. It is the ideal place to get away and relax. The cottage was in a great location (not to far from Margaret River, but not to close either!) and very peaceful. Everything worked well, the bed was very comfortable and the spa bath was better than many others that other establishments advertise. An unexpected treat was the close proximity of the Boranup cafe and art gallery (5 minute walk) which provides an extra option for morning coffee, breakfast and lunch.
