Cambray cottages, situated 12 kilometres north of Nannup on the Vasse Hwy, are set on 160 acres of farmland surrounded by native bush. This is the ultimate getaway.
Steeped in history, the farm is on the site of the old Sussex Sawmill. You can interact with the farm animals or go bush walking and spot the myriad of fauna and flora that abounds in the area. The farm is operating as a sheep dairy and gourmet cheese making enterprise. The farm also has an orchard featuring vintage fruit varieties, avocados and citrus where you can pick and enjoy fresh tree ripened fruit.
The country style cottages feature jarrah bush poles, timber floors in the living area and carpeted bedrooms. The cottages are fully self contained with TV, Video, reverse cycle airconditioning, microwaves, gas hotplates, electric blankets, barbeque and laundry facilities. There is also a video library free for your enjoyment.
Both cottages have two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed in each room the other with one queen size in each with a set of bunk beds for children..
Upon arrival guests are invited to explore our farm shop with our award winning sheep cheese and farm produce then return to your cottage to savour a complimentary Cambray Cheese platter.

We stayed over the Easter weekend and loved it, relaxing, heaps of space for our two girls. They loved riding their bikes around the paddocks, they loved helping Bruce whilst he milked the sheep.
My wife loved the beds and we all loved the cheese platter on arrival!
Great place for star gazing on a clear night, great surrounding towns Nannup markets and the drive to Bridgetown is great for the driver.
Thanks Jane and Bruce we loved your hospitality!

We had such a lovely stay at Cambray. The cottages are simple and not modern but extremely clean! They look much better in real life than in the pictures. The owners are lovely and the cheese is SO GOOD! We had two kids with us and they loved the sheep and open space. It was great that the cottages were fenced so the kids could go outside but not get out of the gate. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a simple, clean and nice little cottage. I gave 4 stars cause we had some issues with ants, but we did leave some food out and its in the bush so I guess that is to be expected. Oh and the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of bedding cause its quite cold down there at nights.

Tranquil cozy place to enjoy a rural holiday
The cabin is very comfortable and cozy to stay, in a nice rural setting. You could see sheep from the windows and large black cockatoos sitting on branches of tall gum treems. It's quite interesting to see the sheep milking process next door. The cheese is abosolutely delicious.

Myself and a friend from Canberra had the pleasure of staying at Cambray Cottages in January 08. The hospitality of the owners together with the beautiful scenery and unique experience of staying on a working sheep cheese farm proved to be am excellent combination that resulted in a perfect couple of days. The accomdation met all of our requirements and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Sitting on the balcony with our morning cuppa watching the sheep make their way to the milking shed was a great way to start the day. Big thanks to the owners of Cambray Cottages for making this a great holiday. We hope to be back again soon xoxo
