After an easy ~2hr drive from Perth, you'll be in this renovated and furnished four bed double storey house with two living areas:
- upstairs with 48" TV/DVD/CD/MP3 and a big lounge to relax on,
- downstairs living area has comfortable lounges, TV, DVD and large dining table,
breakfast bar and modern fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher,
- slow combustion wood fire,
- nespresso coffee machine available to use $1.00 a pod and proceeds to RSPCA.
The upstairs bedrooms each have queen size beds with good quality cotton sheets and doonas. One downstairs bedroom also has a queen size bed, the other has a double bed and a set of bunks - sleeping ten people comfortably. All beds have electric blankets.
There is a newly refurbished bathroom with corner spa/shower in a limestone surround. Second bathroom with toilet and shower.
There are laundry facilities and a clothes line.
Well behaved outside dog/s may be considered on a one on one basis with prior approval.
The focus here is family friendly with both lawned and paved areas. Tucked in one corner is a swing and climbing frame in view of the alfresco wood fired pizza oven and gas barbeque area. Relax listening to the sound of the waves. Play bocce on the fully lit lawn until pizza is served fresh from the oven or pack a bag and head to the beach for a sunset picnic watching the dolphins cruise by!
Minimum booking is for two nights off peak and four - seven nights during peak times, unless by arrangement.
Rates are based on four guests. Extra guests are $20 per person per night. All linen and towels are included however there is a charge of $120.00 per booking to cover laundry and basic cleaning (2hrs). Additional cleaning is charged @ $50.00 p/hour & will be deducted from the security bond, as will cost for any damages should they occur. One bag of firewood supplied and a second available for $20.00.
Note beach towels to be supplied by guests.
Online credit card payment facilities available for accommodation costs, please note Stayz are not able to process bond payments via credit card. A 3% charge will need to be added to booking costs to cover bank charges (there are are no charges for local bank transfers/cash payments). Note international guests - all payments must be received in full/net of any bank fees and charges.
What to do?
If you manage to drag yourself away from the peace and quiet of Peppy Beach then you can stay close to home with walks in the forest or a visit to the local wineries (incl. Capel Vale 5mins). It's a 20min drive to Busselton through picturesque Ludlow and Tuart Drive, or Bunbury just up the highway. Both offer a variety of shops restaurants and cinemas. Busselton has one of the last drive-in cinemas.
Not too far away are the well known and diverse attractions of Dunsborough, Margaret River and the Southwest. Just Google any of these and you'll find something for everyone. Information booklet at the house with local food outlets and tourist information.
A short drive takes you to Capel where you will find an IGA, bottleshop, pub (TAB), takeaway food, cafes, GP's, newspapers, bait and tackle etc.
There are several beach launching spots and a marina boat ramp 15mins away (Port Geographe). A large stainless steel double sink is provided outside to clean your catch of fish etc.
