About Sorrento

Sorrento is a township of Victoria, 91 km South of Melbourne on Port Phillip Bay on the Mornington Peninsula. It has a number of grand historic homes and hotels dating back to the 1860s, and is now a relatively exclusive seaside resort town. It was the home of Victoria's first European Settlement in 1803. Sorrento Bay beach is very family friendly, and the next Town along the Mornington Peninsula is Portsea.
