Albemarle County is home to 24 Wineries, 7 Breweries and numerous Distilleries and Cideries. All the amenities on 175+ acres with spectacular views of the sunset in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Besides relaxing and enjoying the views, the town of Scottsville, the original county seat of Albemarle is just minutes away. Here you can visit the Scottsville Museum or walk the historic Canal Basin Square, for the water sport enthusiast, tubing, canoeing and fishing on the James River is a visitor's favorite.

A gem

This is a gorgeous house and property. Meticulously maintained, well stocked, spacious and comfortable, lovely location, beautiful all around. The house is on the top of the hill with amazing views and lots of windows to enjoy it. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seems fully stocked for easy cooking. It was an easy and beautiful drive to nearby cideries and Cville. A real gem, hope to stay there again.

Perfect

This home is spotless and is incredibly comfortable/stocked with everything we needed (and more). After a long, intensely emotional day at UVA’s graduation, we especially appreciated the ability to return to the serenity of the screened-in porch, where the faint scent of peonies, the bird songs, and the clouds rolling over the distant mountain vista allowed us to process all that the day meant for our Hoo and our family.We hope to relocate to the area and will happily use this lovely home as a base as we search for property. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Lovely Cottage

This cottage is even nicer in person than in the pictures. The land around it is stunning. The views alone make it a worthwhile choice. We spent the majority of the time there on the screened porch looking at the mountains. Esmont is pretty isolated—it is about a 25 minute drive to Charlottesville and 10 minutes to Scottsville.. Highly recommend!
