This home was beautiful, but we were very disappointed in the cleanliness and the bedspace. We never did figure out the 2 convertible Queen beds listed. Further, the bunk beds were not useable for adults. The mattresses were springs and fell through in the middle. ALL of the bathtubs and the showers had to be cleaned out. There was hair in the downstairs bathroom. The downstairs fridge was not cleaned out from previous tenants. The downstairs level did not appear to have been cleaned at all. The floors had popcorn ,chips and cheezits on it. There was dust and cobwebs all over the bedrooms and under the top bunks. The outlets did not work either. The middle level was good for the most part, but the bench on the table had a leg that was broken off previously and glued back.
When we arrived at the property, we were able to reach the owner to try and get in. The code we were given did not work, nor 6 or 7 others he gave us to try. Luckily another door was left open to get in. However, we had to leave that door unlocked when we left, which made us very uncomfortable about our belongings and our safety when re-entering the home.
We also contacted the owner about the television in the middle level, which did not work. He said he would call the cable provider to fix the next day, but he did not. He also did not follow up with us the following day. .When I emailed about the cleanliness concerns and the code to the door, he ignored the cleanliness concern altogether. We are in a pandemic and used a cabin in hopes that it would be a better choice. However, it appears that the cleaning company does not do a good job and they leave some spaces untouched.
Im very discouraged about the cleanliness and safety. When we expressed concern, we were told it was safe up there and not to be worried. That is not sufficient, as we were a group of women traveling .
The home itself was beautiful, but the quality of cleaning and responsiveness of the owner was very disappointing.
