Enjoy the laid back atmosphere and warm ocean breezes of North Myrtle Beach at this three bedroom, two bath beach house. Only 200 steps from the front door to the strand, Coastal Cabana is situated in the popular Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. It is convenient to world famous shag clubs, shopping, dining, golfing, and tons of amusements for the kids.

This single-family home was fully renovated in December 2008 and again in 2022. Updates include fresh paint throughout, 18' ceramic tile downstairs and hardwood laminate floors upstairs, ceiling fans, new furniture and landscaping. Coastal Cabana features a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, washer/dryer, central heating and air, a sun deck on the upper level and a sun deck off the front porch, two new 32' LCD TV's, a 40” Roku LCD TV and a small yard for charcoal grilling (with Weber charcoal grill).

The master bedroom is on the lower level and has a king size bed (new for 2020). The furniture in the master bedroom was replaced with brand new designer furniture in 2022. The other two bedrooms and bathroom are located upstairs. The upstairs front bedroom has a queen size bed and a sliding glass door that opens to the ocean view sun deck. The upstairs back bedroom has two twin beds. This home has three TV's. The living room TV is a new 40” Roku LCD TV. The master bedroom has a new 32' 720p LG LCD TV. The upstairs front bedroom has a 32” LCD TV with built-in DVD player. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi internet.

Coastal Cabana is located near McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach. This is a public park with a playground for the children, ball fields, walking track around the pond, tennis courts, basketball courts, and grilling and picnicking areas. In the summer months, Mclean Park hosts a variety of concerts and festivals that the whole family can enjoy.

Come see all that the Grand Strand has to offer! Charter a fishing boat for half a day or go to the Cherry Grove pier and see if you can catch the big one. If not, you can visit the Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach or Alligator Adventure in Barefoot Landing and see all the wildlife our area offers. Play 18 holes at one of the many world class golf courses nearby. Spend the day at the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens or take home an original Pawley's Island Hammock! If you aren't tired from all that, choose from many of the challenging miniature golf courses in the area or stop in at Nascar Speedpark for a few laps around the track! Myrtle Beach has more than enough activities to keep the whole family entertained. If you are up for dinner and a show, the House of Blues is less than ten minutes away!

*READ YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT (and make sure they actually share it with you first)* I never received a rental agreement as this was an instant booking, but upon arrival was notified that it's "Bring Your Own Linens", which includes any towels and bedsheets. I've never traveled with my own bedsheets. Place was also not cleaned before we arrived, half inch layer of sand on the floors, dead roaches near the sliding glass door in the downstairs bedroom and someone else's stuff still in the fridge. Also trash can was full since clearly no one bothered to wheel it to the curb. I'll give it a star for proximity to the beach and another for accurate size/beds description. Otherwise be aware what you're getting into

Walk to beach

As another review states the 1st day was a little stressful. After settling in 1st night we where on easy street. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook whatever you want. Furniture comfy. Plenty of storage in Master. Close to everything. Bathrooms very clean. Will stay here again.

Coastal Cabana

We loved our stay. The neighborhood was really nice. Really close to the beach. The house had everything we needed. Loved that our little border collie was welcome there as well. We would definitely stay there again. The house was well maintained.

Our new go to home away from home

As with any property we book online, we are always skeptical of what we are actually walking into. This listing and property was 100% the perfect fit for us. It was exactly what was described and presented in the pictures. Family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens) and our fur baby had plenty of room to relax, enjoy ourselves and each other. Our son recently had ACL surgery (knee) so ground level and close to the beach was important. Our son walked to the beach without any issues or complications ever! Being able to look out the kitchen window and see the ocean and our American Flag waving in the view was great. The beach was not crowded at all and we had plenty of room to set up in the sand without feeling like we were intruding on anyone else. The neighborhood was quiet so no worries on the neighbors being loud and keeping us awake. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us! We encourage you to book your stay and make this your home away from home like we did. We are already looking to book again later this year and next summer! Oh… and finding 295+ sharks teeth within 100 yards of shoreline over the 7 days was definitely a plus!! :)

Why they chose this property

Ocean Drive is a family friendly beach and our house is on a safe street. Walk out the front door and one block straight ahead is the Atlantic Ocean. A few blocks to the left is Main Street, where you'll find great seafood restaurants, the Pavilion, nightlife and shopping. Walk a few blocks to the right to hang out at a lively, beachfront Irish pub. Or just sit on the upstairs sun deck and catch some rays. This is a perfect location for the whole family!

What makes this property unique

Coastal Cabana is one of the few ocean view homes in Ocean Drive that welcome dogs. We're constantly trying to improve our beach house so that our renters will have a true 'home away from home' vacation. I know you will find that to be the case as well.
