About this property

Glacier National Park Cabins

Welcome to Shiloh Valley Bears Den! This vacation home is a 2000 square feet chalet-style home which can accommodate 12 guests, with room to scatter out and get comfortable.

The main floor has a beautiful great room with a 17 foot Aspen Hardwood cathedral ceiling, full glass front, and satellite TV.

The full bath features a Serenity Duo Caldera two-person 75 gallon sunken Jacuzzi tub with Romantic emerald lighting and is fully furnished with towels and toiletries.

The kitchen is fully furnished with a built in microwave, cooktop, oven, dishwasher, ice maker, refrigerator and all cooking utensils.

The large 16 foot by 32 foot open loft contains a king-size bed, two twin beds, and a three-quarters bath with a tile walk-in shower. The loft also features a full-sized air hockey table in which to challenge all those who out hiked you during your trip to Glacier National Park that day.

There are two large bedrooms, each with two queen-size beds, on the main floor. The living room is set-up for your relaxation with reclining love seats, a TV with Satellite Dish Network and VCR, stereo surround sound, and a cozy gas log fireplace.

There is a covered deck on the front of the chalet and a spacious open sun deck on the back of the house where guests can sit and enjoy the outdoor beauty. This property is an ideal retreat for a large family, family reunions, or several families traveling together. The property shares the beautiful 17-acre forest land with the secluded smaller cabin known as the Fox Den.

We loved staying at the bear den. It is a great location for visiting Glacier! The house is large and comfortable and has all of the kitchen equipment you will need for making meals.

Wonderful Property
The property was wonderful! It is so charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed and then some. We had a group of eight adults, a two year old and a two month old infant. There was plenty of room to stretch out and move I have stayed in many VRBO’s and the Bear’s Den has been my favorite. The owner was great! He checked on us to make sure everything was ok! We could have not asked for a better property!

A perfect retreat close to Glacier National
Six adults needed a home base for a Glacier National trip and this was perfect. Within a few miles of the West Glacier entrance, plenty of good restaurants around, Columbia Falls is about 10 miles away and Whitefish is about a 30 minute drive. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware, toaster and coffee maker should you choose to eat in. Plenty of room for everyone! There is a train fairly close by but we never saw it.

Wonderful home in Coram.
This house fit our needs perfectly. There are two large rooms downstairs with double beds and a loft area with more beds (a ton of sleep sleeping room). The kitchen is fully stocked there’s plenty of eating space inside and out great camp fire pit, Ample towels and supplies. My kids said those were the comfiest reclining couches they’ve ever been in especially after a day of long hiking.

My late wife Brenda and I came to Montana when we were 21 years old. I was a Pastor for 48 years here in Montana, and I love Montana. It has been a great place to raise a family. I have three beautiful daughters who grew up here and now have families of their own. I have 15 grandchildren.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property and built the two homes on it. I was a Pastor for 35 years and we wanted to help Pastors and Christian Workers who needed a break from Ministry and had no where to go , get away and relax for a while. In the off seasons in the past we have let different ones use it for the purpose of getting away and renewing their commitment to God , being refreshed, and ready to go back to their places of ministry. Two out of my three daughters were led to marry ministers and are are in Full time Ministry.
