Hakea Garden Apartment Belconnen is a large three bedroom apartment with private courtyard garden and wrap around balcony. Tastefully-furnished and well-equipped, the space is modern, clean and comfortable - the ideal place for your next stay in Canberra for work, study or holiday
The home is a clean and spacious modern apartment on one level located in a quiet residential area with other quality homes.
There is a large wrap-around balcony and courtyard garden with rear gate access to the reserve. At the front there is a short flight of stairs to the apartment and easy access to under-building security-gated parking.
Very comfortable beds with all bed linen, bath towels and tea towels provided. 'Sleep Number' king-size double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom, and a lovely Moran double sofa bed in the third bedroom. Please BYO travel cot for your infant.
The apartment is fully-equipped for self-catering with the handy extras of cling wrap, alfoil, baking paper and paper towel.
Note that breakfast is NOT included. There is NO INTERNET or WiFi at the property. Use your phone as hot spot or bring a dongle, and there are free WiFi areas available throughout Canberra and in the nearby shopping precinct.

Hakea is a quiet, two storey building within close proximity for you to enjoy Lake Ginninderra, picnic and play areas, bike/walking tracks through the lakefront reserve lands. Handy to Belconnen Mall and the multi-cultural flavours of local restaurants and cafes, with CISAC pool and gym complex, the University of Canberra, the Australian Institute of Sport and Calvary Hospital a short drive. There are lots of things to see and do in the National Capital with bush reserves and major attractions.
There is under-building security-gated spaces to park your car - the fastest way to get around the Capital Region.
Canberra has great bike paths, and there the bus interchange is nearby.
Located walking distance to Lake Ginninderra, 2 mins to Belconnen Mall, and an easy 10 minute drive to the city.
Other Things to Note
Length of stay is negotiable from short to medium term as required. Minimum stay is 2 nights, maximum 180 nights.
Outside pet considered upon application. No pets allowed indoors or in the common stairwell. Entry and exit property with pet is via the rear gate from the reserve to the private courtyard/balcony.
Please note that I do not have an internet plan at Hakea Garden Apartment Belconnen. Guests wanting internet access have used either a dongle or their phone as a hot spot. There are many free WiFi hot spots in Canberra.

Strictly non-smoking throughout. No burning of incense or paraffin candles inside the home.
Only those registered as guests may reside at the property. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of lease and loss of the security deposit.
Damage, stains, breakages, theft and loss are the guest's responsibility during their stay. Guests are responsible to report and pay for replacement or repair of accidental damage or breakages. No glitter as it takes many cleans to get it all up
Pet Policy: Outside pet considered upon application with details of breed, age and personality. Approved pet requires a cash deposit of $100 pet bond upon arrival. There is a separate entrance via the rear gate for your pet. Pet is not to be brought through the common stairwell unless carried and quiet. Please clean up your doggy-doos that may be in the courtyard garden.
Guests are expected to be considerate and leave the space as they found it - clean and tidy, with your washing up done, cooking appliances clean cooktop, oven, BBQ and rubbish removed. The exit cleaning charge covers 5 hours and includes linen washing, sanitizing airwash of quilts and blankets, sanitizing of wet areas and door handles, vacuuming and dusting, washing windows, sweeping the courtyard and balcony. The actual cleaning takes 10-12 hours with an overnight blocked between guests. The exit cleaning fee is guest assurance that the property is thoroughly clean and maintained in excellent order.
