Old Deakin was one of the first suburbs in Canberra. It is adjacent to Canberra's premier suburb Forrest. The leafy streets are emblematic of Walter Burley Griffin's vision and an absolute joy to stroll through.

This beautiful Canberra Classic has been recently restored with all the modern conveniences. It is available as a self contained furnished house and is the perfect size and location for any group or family where location is critical. Walk to Parliament House, Manuka or the Lake. The parliamentary triangle is a stone throw away. You can even visit the "Lodge" just around the corner

Ideally located near both Canberra Girls Grammar or Canberra Boys Grammar - this house becomes a great meeting point for parents and boarders.

With 6 bedrooms, a study, 3 brand new bathrooms, a rumpus room, lounge, dining and huge living area and kitchen - there is no shortage of space. Warm in winter with multiple heating sources and cool in summer with evaporative air conditioning, this house would suit two families, a group visiting Canberra for business or sporting purposes, or even as a venue to conduct meetings. Off street parking is available in the huge driveway.

The beautiful gardens, expansive back deck, and in-ground swimming pool will make your stay a great success with the kids.

Access is excellent via Melbourne Avenue or Adelaide Avenue. A five minute drive to Woden, Civic and Lake Burley Griffin.

Experience classic Canberra

Nestled in the tree lined streets you will not believe the quietness of the neighbourhood. You can park the car down the generous driveway and simply enjoy the sights by foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! We stayed for 3 nights to visit Corin Forest with 3 couples and 3 kids. It was spacious, had everything we needed and will definitely recommend the place to others. Very central location, easy to get to and a great backyard for kids to explore. I was worried that the house might be too cold for kids, but it was always sunny and warm. Highly recommend. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Property Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Canberra. We were 4 siblings and spouses meeting in Canberra for a family function and a few family members stayed for a couple of nights. We could choose to sit at the nice table near the windows, outside on the deck, or around the large formal dining table. All 3 suited our purposes. It's located in a beautiful suburb and lovely to walk to coffee. Also walked to Parliament house. Supermarket nearby. Owner was kind in her communication and easy to deal with.
