XBS 2162 was originally a first class carriage that journeyed from Sydney to regional NSW and is now nestled on top of a hill overlooking rolling hills, the Murrumbidgee corridor and nearby wineries.
This 1935 wood panelled carriage is corridor style and divided into two units - each is self contained with its own entry.
UNIT 1 Suitable for 2 adults. $160.00 per night per double
Sleeps two and features a double bedroom complete with quaint boudoir chair and TV/DVD. The luggage racks are piled with plenty of magazines both old and new for your reading pleasure.
You have your own sitting room with tea and coffee making facilities as well as an additional sun room where you can sit, relax and enjoy the view.
There is a rain water shower, toilet and train enthusiasts will appreciate the original silver pull down basin.

UNIT 2 Suitable for 2 adults/2 children $160.00 per night per couple/ $20.00 per child per night
Best suits families and consists of one double and two single beds. The double bedroom is equipped with a TV/DVD.
The original seats have been left in one of the compartments where you can peruse a magazine, play a board game or just sit, relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

Both units have access to a BBQ which can be used whilst admiring the clear starlit skies, beautiful sunsets and stunning views of the nearby ranges from our rural property.
2 night minimum during school holidays and public holidays

Places to Eat
Within a 10 minute drive there are range of places to eat. Some of our guest's favourites are the Wood Duck Inn in Hall Village and The Green Herring, George Harcourt Inn an English Style Pub The Gold Creek Country Club and The Homestead Café on Gooroomon Ponds Rd ..
Within a 20 minute drive some favourites are Poachers Pantry near Hall as well as the large range of international restaurants found in Woolley Street Dickson.
Markets
For weekend guests there are a range of markets that sell everything from art, craft and regional produce to clothing, antiques and bric-a-brac.
The Hall Markets features hundreds of stalls and are held on the first Sunday of every month from 10am till 3pm.
