Ratnas Retreat is a comfortable, modest 3 bedroom cottage located only 15mins walk from Katoomba shops and cafes as well as the Railway Station. It is a very short drive to all the famous Katoomba / Leura tourist sites such as the Scenic Railway / Katoomba Falls / Leura Cascades and more.
The cottage is ideal for families, child friendly with no steps into the house and has a flat grassy backyard. Located in a very quiet lane with no traffic. Ideal for kids to ride their bikes.
The kitchen has all what you need. Complete with everything except a dishwasher.
There are laundry facilities - top loader washing machine, wash basin, ironing board /iron and external clothes line.
The cottage has satellite tv, dvd player with some videos to watch. There is a collection of games and books to entertain on those cold nights.
The back of the cottage is north facing with a BBQ facilities. This provides lots of sun through the colder months. There is an outdoor setting with a shade umbrella located at the back of the cottage, directly outside the kitchen.
It has an ongoing vegetable garden in season which anybody is welcome to pick'..
There is a children's play ground with a new skate park 5mins walk from the house. Ideal for riding bikes, skate boards or kicking a soccer ball.
There is a minimum stay of two nights at Ratna's Retreat. There is no bookings for one night only.

During the colder months a closed wood combustion heater is located in the lounge room. This provides ample heat which infiltrates to the rest of the house. There is an electric heater which can be used in the kitchen/dining room area.
Flat rate of $135 from Monday to Thursday . $380 Fri & Sat nights and $145 Sunday nights . Cheaper weekly. Price includes up to 6 persons . Extra charges on Public holidays and increased mid week rate during school holidays.
A $200 Bond is payable on Final Payment. This is refundable a few days after the guest stay. - see Terms and Conditions when booking

Directions to Rupert street, Katoomba. Easy Access by car or train. Walking distance from Katoomba Railway Station
Continue on the Great western Highway past the Katoomba centre turnoff and traffic lights. Turn right at the next trafiic lights at Albion street. There is a Woolworths Petrol Station on the corner. Follow Albion street past Melrose Park and turn left in to Rupert street.
The Blue Mountains Trains depart from Central railway Country section hourly till very late at night. More frequent during peak times midweek. Alight at katoomba station and turn left at the bottom of the stairs. Walk up to the traffic lights on the Great Western Highway, cross the highway and turn left - following the highway westward.
