Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mountain magic Brilliant time away in the Blue Mountains for three weeks writing and walking. Close to town and Echo Point meant that the car was rarely used and when not walking, it was always so pleasant and comfortable to relax in the house or garden. Everything I needed was provided and Michael was easy to communicate with and very helpful, particularly with his recommendations for bush walks. A beautiful home away from home, thanks Michael.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old-time elegance! Timeless comfort! This property has to be experienced to be appreciated. A place of quiet rest and yet a few minutes walk from the centre of Katoomba. Five nights here in September restored me. If you wish to experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains in an atmosphere of elegant retreat - come to Burnie Brae!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for two! Spacious! We stayed here on a last minute getaway and its location to the town centre is perfect! Accessible and literally a 1 minute drive. The bathroom is gorgeous with an impressive double shower. Loved the deco throughout the house too! I love little bits and bobs though. If I had a 'grandma's house' in my life I would picture it to be very much like this. Very personal and nostalgic feels. Absolutely loved the kitchen space as well. Wished I had the chance to entertain just to use the stove. Make sure you find all the light switches for the pretty cabinets though. The whole house heating button was pretty awesome too. Garden is a haven for all garden lovers as well. Would totally stay again but will be bringing family/ friends for sure. Definitely value for money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable! What an absolute gem of a place! My partner and stayed at Burnie Brae for a week and just loved it. The house and gardens are just gorgeous and quaint and the house is just so cosy. What you see, is what you get. So close to everything, shops, pubs, Bush walking spots... The works! My partner couldn't believe our luck, due to me making the booking, he had no idea what he was in store for. Even with the little granny flat that shares the property that's also used for holiday accommodation, you wouldn't be able tell if anyone was staying there. Very private indeed. We had no idea that people were staying there while we were staying there. We will definitely be returning to Burnie Brae. You will not be disappointed. Michael, the owner is lovely and will help you with any inquires. Thank you Michael.
