There are books and a cupboard full of games and jigsaws in the traditional holiday house style. There is also free WiFi with Netflix. On sunny days enjoy the beautiful bushwalks, spectacular views and the lovely cold climate gardens for which the Blue Mountains are famous.
The house has four bedrooms and sleeps six in two queen-sized beds and two single beds.
We provide all linen and towels. The sheets, quilt covers, blankets and towels are by Morgan and Finch.
The kitchen is well equipped with Le Creuset cookware, basics such as oil, herbs and spices, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, and a wide range of teas. There is a microwave, a toaster and an espresso maker. There is a good range of cutlery, crockery and glasses.
The laundry has a Miele washing machine and iron and ironing board.
There is an outdoor setting and a private, sunny fully fenced back garden with a barbecue for outdoor entertaining.
There is a TV with DVD player.
There are toiletries such as shampoo, soap and handwash available and a hairdryer.

It is on the escarpment directly across the road from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk with its many lookouts and easy walking. The Three Sisters and Echo Point are just 500 metres away.
Kookaburra Cottage is on a quiet corner block with a laneway behind offering unrestricted parking.
It has filtered views throught the trees to the Jamison Valley.
The Blue Mountains Explorer Bus stops at nearby Honeymoon Lookout and takes you into Leura and Katoomba via the most scenic route. The Trolley Tours bus also stops at Silver Mist Park across the road from Kookaburra Cottage.
Kookaburra Cottage has been a popular Katoomba holiday house for many years. Now it has been completely refurbished with new carpets, fresh paint, and furniture which comprises a blend of antiques and modern vintage style reproduction furnishings.
It is a warm, roomy and relaxing place to be, and perfectly situated for the enjoyment of all the special attractions the Blue Mountains have to offer.
