Delightful little cottage - used to be on an old dairy farm, these days it's residential. Close to Leura shops/restaurants & a short drive from the magnificent escarpment views - or walk down the road to MineHaHa Falls for a picnic.
The front verandah looks onto a lovely front courtyard with a fish pond and fountain & the back deck is shaded by a huge old tree fern. Heat your soup looking onto the grove of lovely mountain ash trees. Settle in for a winter evening next to a big gas log heater. Springtime puts a splendid show on with maples, cherry blossums and lots of natives. Escape the excesses of the summer heat, with cooler nights.
Quiet and private although it is in a residential area, so there are houses around, including another cottage on the property where the owners live, including a dog. Set on just under an acre. It's a simple, cosy retreat.
Mountain Ash is a self-contained cottage, with its own direct driveway access, and its own verandah and back deck.
Restful weekends away. It's a terrific base for bushwalking or writer's retreat or just doing nothing.
