Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely stunning! Craigend house is the most perfect holiday home. The four of us stayed for 3 nights and were just blown away by the amenities and beauty of this property. The garden and spa deck is just fantastic and the most tranquil, beautiful spot to relax in the sunshine. It was clean, luxurious and the huge projector screen and divine couches were wonderful. We would recommend this property highly and 100% stay here again. Didn't want to leave! We thank our hosts massively and can't wait to return! Thankyou craigend house!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Peaceful surroundings We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Craigend House. As the previous review stated, the accommodation is part share at the bottom/rear of the house. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children. The accommodation was comfortable for us, and had everything we needed. It is a little dark walking to the rear of the property where you enter at night, but there are small solar lights that lead you around. The spa, backyard and deck was lovely and peaceful. The house is located in a great central position and a short drive to Katoomba.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful home in Leura We arrived on the friday evening - it took us approximately 1hr and 20mins to drive from Sydney. Very easy to navigate to. The house was fully secured with an automatic gate. Its a part share of a free-standing home with the entrance out the back. The driveway to enter the property is quite narrow however our little FWD was okay. Plenty of on street parking so not to worry. The entrance was a short walk round the back of the house to the right of the driveway. The house was clean, very comfy lounge and a huge, huge projector TV the size of the wall. They also a large selection of DVD's available for all movie buffs! The outdoor entertaining area was great, BBQ ready and set up. The spa was already heated when we arrived which was great we just needed to unlock it and hop in. Great for families and entertaining. It was very peaceful in the spa under the stars listening to nature. There looked was an outdoor speaker system but we couldn't figure out how to use it to play some soft background music. They also prepared a house manual to let you know how to operate everything which was helpful. There were two bedrooms one with a king bed and a single bed in one room, the other looked like a queen bed in the other room. No bath just a shower. The wooden king bed was comfy however a little squeaky when you first hopped in- pillows and doona were great. The backyard was huge and our 2 cocker spaniels were welcome at the property. They loved running around the back garden as the yard was very large. They even had dog bowls there for them (very kind gesture). Its hard to find great homes that will accept your fur babies and these guys were fantastic! Very close drive to Leura shops and easy to navigate around. The owners have a African theme in the main part of the house which we loved, brought memories back of our last trip to South Africa - the queen room was Japanese styled. Overall we had a fabulous experience and would recommend visiting and staying here. The only negative if I had to mention anything would be the entrance being around the back through the garden, but that's not really a negative for us. If you were disabled or required flat access this house is not recommended as there are some stairs to the back part of the house.
