One of Australia's oldest and grandest estates set on over 1,000 acres of landscaped gardens and lush pasture overlooking the beautiful Mulgoa Valley. Fernhill Estate is an 1810 land grant to the Cox family, and the Main Homestead is a convict built Colonial-Georgeon Mansion completed in 1842.
The Main Homestead sleeps 15 people at an average of $150 per head per night.
Weekend bookings are a 2 night minimum.

Fernhill Estate's Main Homestead accommodates up to 15 people over 7 bedrooms, 5 & ½ Bathrooms, large living room, fully appointed timber eat-in kitchen plus a formal dining room, TV room, grand ballroom and the option of a magnificent cellar.
The Master suite boasts a 4 poster King bed, fireplace, sitting area, separate dressing room and luxurious ensuite bathroom.
Double King Suite - two King bed rooms the Cox and the Darling rooms separated by an inter-leading bathroom featuring a large bath and separate shower. An additional toilet is located just across the passage. These rooms can be setup for either couples or the beds split to allow up to 4 singles.
West Wing - comprises three bedrooms and TV lounge - one King with walk-in robe and ensuite, another King room plus a Twin room that share a conveniently located bathroom. This wing has a large TV/lounge room for your exclusive use.
The Secret Room - enjoys its own private external access to a King room with ensuite
Underneath the Mansion, is a hidden gem, here lies one of the the best kept secrets in Sydney. The Fernhill Cellars, covering almost 50 of the mansions floorplan. Features include, Theatre room, hand crafted timber bar, pool table, wine tasting room, gothic dining room, whisky sampling quarter & music sphere. The Cellar is available for an additional $1000 per stay.

The Estate also has a separate Manager's Cottage available to hire concurrently or separately.
The Managers Cottage has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large lounge, dining and kitchen areas catering for up to an additional 8 guests.
From the moment you drive through the gates you will feel you have stepped into another world. 4km of driveways framed by stone walls lead you to the magnificent sandstone homestead built by Irish stonemasons from rock quarried on the property. The 1842 mansion is set high on the hill with stunning views and not another house for miles. Step through the huge wooden front doors into a grand entry room that leads to a breathtaking atrium. Leading off to your left is a luxurious drawing room and adjoining ballroom with gold leafed ceilings that seem to touch the sky. Share a meal with your family, friends or colleagues in the 16 seater dining room or alternately gather around the country farm style kitchen table. The well equipped kitchen offers the gourmet chef in your group everything they need to cook up a storm alternately there are a number of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Enjoy a wander through the cellars, recline by the pool, relax in the drawing room, curl up with your book in the ballroom or enjoy a sundowner on the wrap around porch. Explore the surrounding bushland, visit the stables, swim in one of the many lakes or hike to The Rock Lookout for sunset views over the Nepean River. Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and reviving weekend or week long stay is right here.
If you do want to go out although most people never want to leave, then exploring the Blue Mountains is an easy drive. For the thrill seekers, there are a host of adventure activities available only 15 minutes away - from iFly and Jetpack Adventures to Cables Wake Park and FlipOut. And if shopping is your thing, it's only 15 minutes to Westfield Shopping Centre and Penrith High Street.
The Museum of Fire, Penrith Regional Gallery and the Joan Sutherland Centre offer something for those more artistically inclined, and a variety of entertainment is available at Penrith Panthers World of Entertainment.

- Find a bench under a tree to admire the views, read a book or take a nap.
- Lie by the pool or have a swim in the dam.
- Walk, jog, run or hire one of our mountain bikes and hit the bush tracks.
- Hire a fishing rod or a canoe and spend a lazy day at the lake.
- Bush walking, especially a hike to The Rock Lookout, is a must.
- Birds, wallabies, wombats, goana and deer abound.
