One of Australia's oldest and grandest estates set on over 1,000 acres of landscaped gardens and lush pasture overlooking the beautiful Mulgoa Valley. Book the entire house for a group getaway, or just a secluded wing for your family and friends, or select your own private suite for a romantic getaway.
From the moment you drive through the gates you will feel you have stepped into another world. 4km of driveways framed by stone walls lead you to the magnificent sandstone homestead built by Irish stonemasons from rock quarried on the property. The 1842 mansion is set high on the hill with stunning views and not another house for miles. Enjoy a wander through the cellars, recline by the pool, relax in the drawing room, curl up with your book in the ballroom or enjoy a sundowner on the wrap around porch. Explore the surrounding bushland, visit the stables, swim in one of the many lakes or hike to The Rock Lookout for sunset views over the Nepean River. Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and reviving weekend or week long stay is right here.
If you do want to go out (although most people never want to leave!), then exploring the Blue Mountains is an easy drive. For the thrill seekers, there are a host of adventure activities available only 15 minutes away - from iFly and Jetpack Adventures to Cables Wake Park and FlipOut. And if shopping is your thing, it's only 15 minutes to Westfield Shopping Centre and Penrith High Street.
The Museum of Fire, Penrith Regional Gallery and the Joan Sutherland Centre offer something for those more artistically inclined, and a variety of entertainment is available at Penrith Panthers World of Entertainment.
