Hill farm is a 115 acre working farm, currently used for fattening Angus steers.
Contemporary architect designed 4 bedrooms house with 3Q and 2S beds, 2.5 bathrooms, Hill Farm comfortably accommodates 8 people.
The house is a solar passive design. In winter it is warmed by the sun during the day for cozy evenings, which can be supplemented by the under-floor heating and the log fire. Summers are cooled by the 1000mt altitude, over-hang design and natural breeze ways.
The outside fire is a great place to gather at the end of the day and enjoy a drink.
Guests are welcome to wander around the farm and enjoy the open space, privacy and views.
Local attractions include Rydal (Daffodils in Spring, John Olsen), Jenolan Caves, Lithgow (Iron fest), Tarana Pub, numerous walks, historic Bathurst, fishing in the Cox’s river, golf at Lithgow, water sports at Lake Lyall (10 mins. away), horse riding (30 mins) and of course the stars at night (so close you can almost touch them).
