GETTING THERE AND GETTING AROUND
A car is very handy for getting around The Blue Mountains. However, the house is a short taxi ride from Wentworth Falls Station. Alternatively, there are buses from the train station. Buses also go to other villages - check Blue Mountains Buses timetable online before you book to stay if you plan on relying on public transport. The cottage is within a 5 minute drive or a 1/2 hour walk to the village where you can find the train station, shops, cafes and restaurants.
There is a coffee cart at the Wentworth Falls & Jamison Valley lookout area on weekends. And there is a lovely cafe - The Conservation Hut, less than a 5 minute walk away with stunning views. This is where most of the bushwalks begin.
